La compa\u00f1\u00eda Mozilla ha decidido no renovar el contrato con la empresa de marketing Leanplum, bajo el cual se organiz\u00f3 el env\u00edo de telemetr\u00eda en las versiones m\u00f3viles de Firefox para Android e iOS. Por defecto, el env\u00edo de telemetr\u00eda a Leanplum se activaba para aproximadamente el 10% de los usuarios en EE. UU. La informaci\u00f3n sobre el env\u00edo de telemetr\u00eda se mostraba en la configuraci\u00f3n y estaba disponible para desactivarse (en el men\u00fa \u00abRecopilaci\u00f3n de datos\u00bb en el apartado \u00abDatos de marketing\u00bb). El contrato con Leanplum finaliza el 31 de mayo, antes de esa fecha, la compa\u00f1\u00eda Mozilla tiene la intenci\u00f3n de desactivar la integraci\u00f3n con los servicios de Leanplum en sus productos. <\/p>\n
En servidores<\/a> Leanplum recib\u00eda un identificador \u00fanico de programa generado de forma aleatoria (el servidor tambi\u00e9n pod\u00eda tener en cuenta la direcci\u00f3n IP del usuario), as\u00ed como datos sobre cu\u00e1ndo el usuario abr\u00eda o guardaba marcadores, creaba nuevas pesta\u00f1as, utilizaba el servicio Pocket, limpiaba datos, guardaba contrase\u00f1as, descargaba archivos, se conectaba a la cuenta de Firefox, tomaba capturas de pantalla, interactuaba con la barra de direcciones y utilizaba recomendaciones de b\u00fasqueda. Adicionalmente, se transmit\u00edan detalles sobre la activaci\u00f3n de la sincronizaci\u00f3n, la configuraci\u00f3n de Firefox como navegador predeterminado y la existencia de las aplicaciones Firefox Focus, Klar y Pocket en el dispositivo. La informaci\u00f3n se recopilaba para optimizar la interfaz y la funcionalidad del navegador, teniendo en cuenta el comportamiento y las necesidades reales de los usuarios.
