Amid mass protests in Kazakhstan, a simultaneous loss of traffic from all fixed and mobile network operators was recorded at 17:30 (MSK). Since yesterday, localized access issues have been noted, and today, the blockage has spread to all autonomous systems (ASN) monitored by Cloudflare that belong to Kazakhstani providers.

Yesterday's issues primarily affected users of mobile operators such as Tele2 and Kcell, but judging by the decline in traffic, rather than blockage, attempts were made to reduce bandwidth. Today's blockage is associated with a complete loss of connectivity for both mobile and fixed network operators. In addition to halting data exchange between users, external operators noted BGP announcements indicating a cessation of routing in the networks of Kazakhstani operators around the same time the blockage began.
