Korea's telecommunications company SK Telecom (SKT), the firm Iceotope, and lubricants developer SK Enmove are reportedly working together to create next-generation liquid cooling systems (LCS) for data centers focused on resource-intensive AI tasks, according to Datacenter Dynamics. The parties have signed a memorandum of understanding to implement Precision Liquid Cooling (PLC) technology. The project aims to employ special fluids from SK Enmove and a testing bench from SKT. It is claimed that the PLC system ensures high efficiency in heat dissipation from server components and energy savings compared to alternative solutions.
