🥇 Interaktiivne teekaart veebiarenduse õppimiseks

Asulas jätkub programmeerimiskooli areng codery.camp. Hiljuti lõpetasime veebiarenduse kursuse täieliku ümberkujundamise, mis on nüüd saadaval ka veebivormingus.

Teoreetiliste materjalide koostamiseks kasutasime ebatavalist lahendust – kõik need on ühendatud interaktiivsesse graafikusse, mida on mugav kasutada teekaardina veebiarenduse õppimiseks. Materjalid on omavahel seotud ning lisaks teooriale sisaldavad need ka kodeerimisharjutusi.

Õppimise kontseptsioon

Usume, et õppimise käigus vahetab inimene pidevalt kahte režiimi – see on ülevaate loomise režiim ja detailide süvenemise režiim mingi konkreetse olendi osas.

Kursuse tundides keskendume esimesele režiimile – tund sisaldab ainult üldteavet, mis aitab luua "maailmapilti". Tundi saab lugeda, süvenemata detailidesse – ja ainult esmase ülevaate omandamisel on võimalik hakata süvenema konkreetsetesse materjalidesse.

Teoreetilised materjalid kuvatakse kursuses lõiguna. Selle lõigu klõpsamine viib üliõpilase teise režiimi – ta keskendub täielikult konkreetse materjali omandamisele, süvenemata selle rolli antud tunni teemasse.

Lisaks selgitusele sisaldavad materjalid spetsiaalseid harjutusi – kodeerimisharjutusi, et kinnistada antud materjali praktikas.

Kõik materjalid seotakse omavahel nooltega – nagu tehnoloogiate puu strateegilistes mängudes. See aitab hästi keerukate materjalide omandamisel, mis tuginevad teistele põhiteadmistel. Kui õpilasel on raskusi arusaamisega, saab ta igal ajal tagasipöörduda alusse materjali juurde ja kohe selle üle korrata – mitte otsida puuduvaid teadmisi kogu kursuse struktuurist.

Selline teoreetiliste materjalide eraldamine tundidest annab täiendava võimaluse. Õpilastel, kellel on põhiteadlikkus, on võimalik ise luua oma õppimise marsruut ja liikuda selle materjalide kaardi kaudu, märkides läbitud teatud nupu abil.

Praktilised ülesanded

Despite this additional capability, we believe it is more appropriate to follow the material in the sequence outlined in the lessons. In addition to forming an overall picture, the lessons have another important feature – practical assignments.

To master web development, it is not enough to simply study a set of individual materials and technologies – you need to learn how to connect them into a whole in larger projects. Practical assignments represent just such projects, increasing in complexity from lesson to lesson and covering a growing number of materials studied.

Practical assignments are performed in external sandbox environments and are manually checked by the instructor. The instructor checks not only the correctness of the work but also pays attention to typical style issues – code formatting, variable naming, etc. – that are best corrected at the earliest stages of a developer's growth.

Instructor Assistance

In addition to checking practical assignments, the instructor plays another important role.
No matter how well the material is explained, questions can arise during the learning process for which it is not always possible to find an independent answer.

Therefore, we have placed a button next to each material to call a chat with the instructor. Each chat is linked to the material – so when you return to previously studied topics, it is easy to find answers to questions that have already arisen.

Camp

Getting consultations via chat is not always convenient. It is much more convenient to ask in person – this allows for a quicker response, while also solving other related questions that arise during the conversation. Our experience shows that in-person support from an instructor significantly accelerates progress through the course.

For this, we have a summer programming camp functioning in our village. Students live in tents, but there is a block in the camp with a comfortable terrace for classes and bathrooms, there is high-speed WiFi, and hot meals are provided (and a café will open soon).
