Trinity R14.1.4 desktop environment release has been published, continuing the development of the KDE 3.5.x and Qt 3 codebase. Binary packages will soon be prepared for Ubuntu, Debian, RHEL/CentOS, Fedora, openSUSE, and other distributions.

- The kpdf PDF viewer has added tab support.
- In the Codeine multimedia player, a context menu has been added to the status bar for enabling/disabling the analyzer during video playback. A signal analyzer has been added, showing during audio playback. The option to change position in FLAC files has been introduced.
- In the twin-style-decorator component responsible for window decoration and borders, optional upper and lower frames with shadows have been implemented. Support for pseudo-transparency in theme decorations has been added.
- In windows with thin borders, the resizing grip area has been improved.
- Logic for separate decoration of inactive windows has been implemented.
- A dockOnStart option has been added to control the state of the window during startup.
- The ability to reset the notification display timer upon clicking the message has been introduced.
- The network configurator has added the ability to create VPN-connections.
- Support for GCC 15, Poppler 25.01, Ubuntu 25.04, and Fedora 43 has been added. Support for Ubuntu 23.04 and Raspbian based on Debian 10 has been discontinued.
- Programs digikam, krecipes, ksquirrel, and ktorrent have transitioned to using the CMake build system. Support for autotools in kmyfirewall and piklab has been discontinued.
