Teine kategooria on peamine oht, kuna standardite puuduj\u00e4\u00e4kide r\u00fcnnakute korraldamiseks on vaja spetsiifilisi seadistusi v\u00f5i peab ohver tegema teatud toiminguid. K\u00f5ik haavatavused avalduvad s\u00f5ltumata Wi-Fi turvaprotocolide kasutamisest, sealhulgas WPA3 kasutamise korral.    <\/p>\n<p>Enamik avastatud r\u00fcnnakumeetodeid v\u00f5imaldab kurjategijal teostada L2-kaadri asendamist kaitstud v\u00f5rgus, mis v\u00f5imaldab sekkuda ohvri liiklusesse. K\u00f5ige reaalsetena tuuakse v\u00e4lja DNS-vastuste valeandmine, et suunata kasutaja r\u00fcndaja hostile. Samuti tuuakse n\u00e4ide haavatavuste kasutamisest aadressi translation (NAT) \u00fcmbersuunamiseks traadita ruuteris ja otseplaadi kaudu seadme juurde p\u00e4\u00e4semiseks kohalikus v\u00f5rgus v\u00f5i tulem\u00fc\u00fcri piirangute eiramiseks. Teine osa haavatavusi, mis on seotud fraktsioonitud kaadrite t\u00f6\u00f6tlemisega, v\u00f5imaldab ekstraheerida teavet traadita v\u00f5rgu liikluse kohta ja tabada kasutaja andmeid, mis edastatakse ilma kr\u00fcpteerimiseta.     <\/p>\n<p>Uurija on valmistanud demonstreerimise, mis n\u00e4itab, kuidas haavatavusi kasutada paroolide haaramiseks, mis edastatakse, kui p\u00f6\u00f6rdutakse veebisaidi poole ilma kr\u00fcpteerimiseta HTTP protokolli kaudu. Probleemid puudutavad nii kliendiseadmeid ja traadita kaarte kui ka juurdep\u00e4\u00e4supunkte ja Wi-Fi ruutereid. \u00dcldiselt piisab kaitsega seotud t\u00f6\u00f6s \u00fcmberringluse meetmena HTTPS-i kasutamisest koos DNS-liikluse kr\u00fcpteerimisega DNS over TLS v\u00f5i DNS over HTTPS abil. Samuti sobib kaitseks rakendamine. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/vpn\/\"   title=\"VPN\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"162\">VPN<\/a>.     <\/p>\n<p>K\u00f5ige ohtlikumateks peetakse nelja haavatavust traadita seadmete rakendustes, mis v\u00f5imaldavad triviaalsete meetodite abil oma kr\u00fcpteerimata kaadrite asendamist:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Haavatavused CVE-2020-26140 ja CVE-2020-26143 lubavad kaadrite asendamist teatud juurdep\u00e4\u00e4supunktides ja traadita kaartides Linuxis, Windowsis ja FreeBSD-s.\n<li class=\"l\"> Haavatavus VE-2020-26145 v\u00f5imaldab k\u00e4sitleda levitatud kr\u00fcpteerimata fragmente kui t\u00e4isv\u00e4\u00e4rtuslikke kaadreid macOS-is, iOS-is ja FreeBSD-s ning NetBSD-s.\n<li class=\"l\"> Haavatavus CVE-2020-26144 v\u00f5imaldab k\u00e4sitleda kr\u00fcpteerimata taastatud kaadreid A-MSDU koos EtherType EAPOLiga Huawei Y6, Nexus 5X, FreeBSD ja LANCOM AP-s.   <\/ul>\n<p>Muud haavatavused rakendustes on seotud peamiselt probleemidega, mis tekivad fragmenteeritud kaadrite t\u00f6\u00f6tlemisel:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26139: lubab suunata kaadreid EAPOLi lipuga, mida saadab autentimata saatja (m\u00f5jutab 2\/4 kontrollitud juurdep\u00e4\u00e4supunkti ning NetBSD ja FreeBSD alusel tegutsevaid lahendusi).\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26146: lubab kr\u00fcpteeritud fragmente uuesti kokku panna (reassembling) ilma j\u00e4rjekorranumbrite kontrollimiseta.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26147: lubab kokku panna segatud kr\u00fcpteeritud ja kr\u00fcpteerimata fragmente.\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26142: v\u00f5imaldab k\u00e4sitleda fragmenteeritud kaadreid kui t\u00e4iskooseisega kaadreid (m\u00f5jutab OpenBSD-d ja traadita moodulit ESP12-F).\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-26141: puudub TKIP MIC-i kontroll killustatud kaadrites.    <\/ul>\n<p>Probleemid spetsifikatsioonides:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> CVE-2020-24588 &#8212; Linuxis ilmnevad probleemid traadita v\u00f5rgu mac80211 kaudu, teatud traadita draiverites ja traadita kaartidesse laaditavates p\u00fcsivara. Haavatavuste k\u00f5rvaldamiseks on v\u00e4lja pakutud plekilise kogumi paiku, mis h\u00f5lmavad mac80211 virna ja draivereid ath10k\/ath11k. Nii pika embargoperioodi p\u00f5hjuseks on koordineeritud uuenduste ettevalmistamine ja viivitused spetsifikatsioonimuudatuste ettevalmistamisel organisatsioonides ICASI ja Wi-Fi Alliance.
