Ilmub uus Python-i raamatukogu plotly.py 5.0, mis pakub andmete visualiseerimise ja erinevat t\u00fc\u00fcpi statistika t\u00f6\u00f6riistu. Joonistamiseks kasutatakse raamatukogu plotly.js, mis toetab rohkem kui 30 t\u00fc\u00fcpi 2D- ja 3D-graafikuid, diagramme ja kaarte (tulemus salvestatakse pildifailina v\u00f5i HTML-failina interaktiivseks kuvamiseks brauseris). Raamatukogu plotly.py levitatakse MIT-litsentsi alusel.

Uues v\u00e4ljaandes on l\u00f5petatud Python 2.7 ja Python 3.5 tugi, n\u00fc\u00fcd on vajalik v\u00e4hemalt Python 3.6. Tehtud on \u00fchilduvuse rikkumise muudatusi, sealhulgas on eemaldatud suur kogus aegunud funktsioone, muudetud vaikev\u00e4\u00e4rtusi ja l\u00f5petatud Internet Explorer 9\/10 brauserite tugi. Plotly.js teek on uuendatud versioonilt 1.58.4 versioonile 2.1. On rakendatud uus lisand JupyterLabiga integreerimiseks. Andmete JSON formaati serialiseerimisel on j\u00f5udlus suurenenud 5-10 korda.
