Red Hat arendajad on alustanud CentOS Stream 9 versioonide koostamist, mis on pidevalt uuenev CentOS v\u00e4ljaanne, mille alusel alustati Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 haru arendamist. CentOS Stream v\u00f5imaldab varakult juurdep\u00e4\u00e4su tulevaste RHEL harude v\u00f5imalustele, kuid sisaldab veel t\u00e4ielikult stabiliseerimata pakette. CentOS Stream on loodud selleks, et anda kogukonna v\u00e4listel liikmetel v\u00f5imalus osaleda uue RHEL haru arendamises. CentOS Stream'i v\u00f5ib pidada RHEL-i \u00fclesvoolu projektiks, mis toimib arenduse aluseks.
