Paranduste v\u00e4rskendused antakse v\u00e4lja kolmanda numbri (Patch) muudatustega. Number 3.0.0 valiti kohe p\u00e4rast 1.1.1, et v\u00e4ltida kattumist avatud koodi FIPS-mooduliga OpenSSL-i, mille numereerimine oli 2.x.      <\/p>\n<p>Teiseks oluliseks muudatuseks projektis on \u00fcleminek kahele litsentsile (OpenSSL ja SSLeay) litsentsile Apache 2.0. Varasemalt rakendatud OpenSSL-i litsents p\u00f5hines aegunud Apache 1.0 litsentsi teksti peal ja n\u00f5udis OpenSSL-i selge mainimist reklaammaterjalides, kui OpenSSL-i teeke kasutati, samuti erinote lisamist, kui OpenSSL-i toodi toote koosseisus. Sellised n\u00f5uded muutsid vana litsentsi GPL-iga mittesobivaks, mis tekitas raskusi OpenSSL-i kasutamisel GPL-litsentsiga projektides. Selle GPL-iga mittesobivuse v\u00e4ltimiseks olid GPL-i projektid sunnitud kasutama spetsiifilisi litsentsilepinguid, kus GPL-i p\u00f5hit\u00f5ed t\u00e4iendati punktiga, mis selgelt lubas rakenduse \u00fchendamist OpenSSL-i teegiga ja mainis, et GPL-i n\u00f5uded ei kehti OpenSSL-iga \u00fchendamise kohta.         <\/p>\n<p>OpenSSL 3.0.0-es on lisatud \u00fcle 7500 muudatuse v\u00f5rreldes OpenSSL 1.1.1-ga, mille on ette valmistanud 350 arendajat. OpenSSL 3.0.0 peamised uuendused:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Pakutud on uus FIPS-moodul, mis sisaldab kr\u00fcptograafiliste algoritmide rakendust, mis vastab FIPS 140-2 turvastandardile (selle kuu jooksul plaanitakse alustada mooduli sertifitseerimise protsessi, FIPS 140-2 sertifikaadi saamine on oodata j\u00e4rgmisel aastal). Pakkujate abil on v\u00f5imalik lisada kohandatud rakendusi, mis on m\u00f5eldud sellisteks toiminguteks nagu kr\u00fcpteerimine, dekr\u00fcpteerimine, v\u00f5tmete genereerimine, MAC-i arvutamine, digiallkirjade loomine ja kontrollimine. N\u00fc\u00fcd on v\u00f5imalik nii uute k\u00e4situste \u00fchendamine kui ka alternatiivsete rakenduste loomine juba toetatud algoritmide jaoks (igale algoritmile kasutatakse vaikimisi n\u00fc\u00fcd OpenSSL-i sisseehitatud pakkujat).\n<li class=\"l\"> Lisatud on toetus sertifikaadi haldust protokolli CMP (Certificate Management Protocol, RFC 4210) jaoks, mida saab kasutada sertifikaatide taotlemiseks, sertifikaatide uuendamiseks ja sertifikaatide t\u00fchistamiseks. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/server\/dts-los-angeles\/\"   title=\"serverid\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3745\">serverid<\/a> T\u00f6\u00f6tamine CMP-ga toimub uue utiliidi openssl-cmp kaudu, kus on samuti rakendatud CRMF formaadi (RFC 4211) ja p\u00e4ringute edastamise toetus HTTP\/HTTPS (RFC 6712).\n<li class=\"l\"> Rakendatud on t\u00e4isfunktsionaalne klient HTTP ja HTTPS protokollide jaoks, toetades GET ja POST meetodeid, p\u00e4ringute \u00fcmbersuunamist, t\u00f6\u00f6 l\u00e4bi vahendite, ASN.1 kodeerimist ja aja\u00fclesannete t\u00f6\u00f6tlemist.\n<li class=\"l\"> Lisatud on uus API EVP_MAC (Message Authentication Code API), mis lihtsustab uusi imitatsioonide rakendusi lisada.\n<li class=\"l\"> Pakutud on uus liidese loomise API - EVP_KDF (Key Derivation Function API), mis lihtsustab uute KDF ja PRF rakenduste loomist.
