N\u00e4iteks on toetatud platvormide seas erinevad Intel'i kiibid (Broadwell, Icelake, Tigerlake, Alderlake jne), Mediatek (mt8195), NXP (i.MX8*) ja AMD (Renoir), mis tarnitakse Xtensa HiFi 2, 3 ja 4 arhitektuuril p\u00f5hinevate DSP-dega. Arendamise k\u00e4igus v\u00f5ib kasutada spetsiaalset emulaatorit v\u00f5i QEMU. Avatud p\u00fcsivara kasutamine DSP-de jaoks v\u00f5imaldab kiiremini parandada ja diagnoosida p\u00fcsivara probleeme ning annab kasutajatele v\u00f5imaluse oma vajaduste kohandamiseks p\u00fcsivara ilma erivajaduste ja optimeerimisteta, luues kergeid p\u00fcsivara variante, mis sisaldavad tootes vajalikku funktsionaalsust.     <\/p>\n<p>Projekt pakub raamistiku helit\u00f6\u00f6tlusega seotud lahenduste arendamiseks, optimeerimiseks ja testimiseks, samuti draiverite ja programmide loomiseks DSP-dega suhtlemiseks. Draiver on juba osa Linuxi p\u00f5hituumast alates versioonist 5.2 ja seda antakse v\u00e4lja kahel litsentsil \u2014 BSD ja GPLv2. Draiver vastutab firmware'i laadimise eest DSP m\u00e4llu, helitaustade laadimise eest DSP-sse, heliseadme t\u00f6\u00f6 korraldamise eest (ta vastutab rakendustest DSP funktsioonidega suhtlemise eest) ning rakenduste juurdep\u00e4\u00e4sukohapunktide pakkumise eest helikadudele. Draiver pakub ka IPC mehhanismi suhtlemiseks host-s\u00fcsteemi ja DSP vahel ning kihti, mis v\u00f5imaldab DSP riistvararessurssidele juurdep\u00e4\u00e4su t\u00fc\u00fcpilise API kaudu.
