Varem kasutati RHEL-i uue haru aluseks \u00fche Fedora v\u00e4ljaande l\u00f5ikes\u00fcndmust, mida t\u00e4iustati ja stabiliseeriti suletud uste taga, ilma et oleks v\u00f5imalik arenduse k\u00e4iku ja tehnikalisi valetamisel \u00e4ra hoida. RHEL 9 arendamisel, mis p\u00f5hineb Fedora 34 l\u00f5ikes\u00fcndmusel, on loodud CentOS Stream 9 haru koos kogukonna osalusega, millel k\u00e4ib ettevalmistust\u00f6\u00f6 ja p\u00f5hialuse loomine RHEL-i uue olulise haru jaoks.     <\/p>\n<p>CentOS Stream v\u00f5tavad vastu samu v\u00e4rskendusi, mis on ette valmistatud veel avaldamata RHEL-i tulevase vaheversiooni jaoks ning arendajate peamine eesm\u00e4rk on saavutada CentOS Streami stabiilsustase, mis vastab RHEL-ile. Enne, kui paketid j\u00f5uavad CentOS Streami, l\u00e4bivad nad erinevad automaatika- ja manuaaltestimise s\u00fcsteemid ning avaldatakse ainult siis, kui nende stabiilsustase tunnustatakse kvaliteedistandardite t\u00e4itmist, mis on valmis RHEL-i avaldamiseks. T\u00e4iendavalt CentOS Streamiga valmistatud v\u00e4rskendused paigutatakse RHEL-i \u00f6ise kokkuv\u00f5tte juurde.     <\/p>\n<p>Kasutajatele soovitatakse migreeruda CentOS Stream 8-le, installides paketi centos-release-stream (\"dnf install centos-release-stream\") ja kasutades k\u00e4sku \"dnf update\".
