Chipletid v\u00f5imaldavad luua kombineeritud h\u00fcbriidintegraalskeeme (mitme kiibi mooduleid), mis koosnevad s\u00f5ltumatutest pooljuhtplokkidest, mis ei ole seotud \u00fche tootjaga ja suhtlevad \u00fcksteisega standardse kiire UCIe liidese kaudu.   <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Intel, AMD ja ARM esitlesid UCIe, avatud standardit chiplet&#039;ide jaoks\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/df0a0fc13f353218153a6a7017a9df14.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>      <\/p>\n<p>Spetsialiseeritud lahenduse, n\u00e4iteks masin\u00f5ppe v\u00f5i v\u00f5rguoperatsioonide t\u00f6\u00f6tlemise jaoks sisseehitatud kiirendiga protsessori loomise v\u00e4ljat\u00f6\u00f6tamiseks piisab UCIe kasutamisel olemasolevate kiibletide kasutamisest, mis sisaldavad protsessorituumade v\u00f5i erinevate tootjate pakutavaid kiirendite. Kui t\u00fc\u00fcpilisi lahendusi ei ole, on v\u00f5imalik luua oma chiplet vajaliku funktsionaalsusega, kasutades endale sobivaid tehnoloogiaid ja lahendusi.     <\/p>\n<p>P\u00e4rast seda piisab, kui \u00fchendada valitud kiibits, kasutades LEGO-stiilis plokkkomplekti (ettepanekutehnoloogia sarnaneb PCIe plaatide kasutamisega arvuti koostisosade monteerimiseks, kuid ainult integreeritud ringide tasemel). Andmete vahetus ja kiibitsade vaheline suhtlemine toimub kiire UCIe liidese kaudu, ning plokkide kokkupanekuks kasutatakse \u201es\u00fcsteemi korpuses\u201c (SoP, system-on-package) paradigmadi, mitte \u201es\u00fcsteemi kristallil\u201c (SoC, system-on-chip).     <\/p>\n<p>V\u00f5rreldes SoC-tehnoloogiaga v\u00f5imaldab kiibitsate tehnoloogia luua vahetatavaid ja taaskasutatavaid pooljuhtplokke, mida saab kasutada erinevates seadmetes, mis v\u00e4hendab oluliselt kiipide arenduskulusid. Kiibitsate alusel t\u00f6\u00f6tavates s\u00fcsteemides saab kombineerida erinevaid arhitektuure ja tootmistehnoloogiaid - kuna iga kiibits t\u00f6\u00f6tab eraldi, suheldes standardsete liidestega, v\u00f5ivad \u00fches tootes olla \u00fchendatud plokid koos erinevate k\u00e4skude komplekti (ISA) arhitektuuridega, nagu RISC-V, ARM ja x86. Avalikkusele on esitatud avatud spetsifikatsioon UCIe 1.0, mis standardiseerib meetodid integreeritud ringide \u00fchendamiseks \u00fchiselt, protokollide komplekti, tarkvaramudeli ja testimisprotsessi.
