Uute versioonite numbreerimise s\u00fcsteemi kohaselt kasutati versiooni 12.0 arenduses ning enne GCC 12.1 v\u00e4ljalaskmist harunes juba GCC 13.0 haru, mille alusel moodustatakse j\u00e4rgmist olulist v\u00e4ljaannet GCC 13.1. 23. mail t\u00e4histab projekt 35 aastat oma esimese GCC v\u00e4ljaande ilmumisest.      <\/p>\n<p>Peamised muudatused:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Lisatud on tugi CTF (Compact Type Format) silumisvormingule, mis tagab C-t\u00fc\u00fcpide, funktsioonidevaheliste seoste ja silumis s\u00fcmbolite teabe kompaktse salvestamise. ELF-objektidesse integreerimisel v\u00f5imaldab formaat kasutada EFL s\u00fcmbolite tabeleid andmete dubleerimise v\u00e4ltimiseks.\n<li class=\"l\"> K\u00e4itumise tugi formaadi \"STABS\" deklareerimine, mis loodi 1980. aastatel, on l\u00f5petatud.\n<li class=\"l\"> T\u00f6\u00f6d j\u00e4tkatakse tulevaste C2X ja C++23 standardite toe laiendamiseks C ja C++ keeles. Uute ARMv8 arhitektuuri versioonide tugi on lisatud ka \"-march\" valikule: armv8.7-a, armv8.8-a, armv9-a. Kompilaatori sisseehitatud C funktsioonide (Intrinsics) rakendamine on lisatud andmete aatomiliseks laadimiseks ja salvestamiseks m\u00e4lu, p\u00f5hinedes laienenud ARM instruktsioonide kasutamisele (ls64). lisatud on kiirenduse tugi funktsioonidele memcpy, memmove ja memset ARM-i laienduse mopsoption abil.\n<li class=\"l\">  Uus kontrollre\u017eiim \"-fsanitize=shadow-call-stack\" (ShadowCallStack) on lisatud, mis on praegu saadaval ainult AArch64 arhitektuurile ja t\u00f6\u00f6tab koodi koostamisel, mille valikuks on \"-ffixed-r18\". Re\u017eiim kaitseb funktsioonist tagasiastumise aadressi \u00fclekirjutamise eest juhul, kui virnas toimub \u00fclevool.
