Antud kaitsetarkvara mudel kajastub otseselt C\/C++ keelemudelis, mis v\u00f5imaldab selle rakendamist olemasolevate rakenduste kaitseks (vajalik on vaid uuesti kompileerimine ja k\u00e4ivitamine seadmetel, mis toetavad ISA CHERIoT).    <\/p>\n<p>Pakutud lahendus v\u00f5imaldab blokeerida m\u00e4lus esinevad objekti \u00fcletamise vead, keelab pointerite \u00fclekirjutamise (k\u00f5ik pointerid peavad olema loodud juba olemasolevatest pointeritest), j\u00e4lgib m\u00e4lup\u00f6\u00f6rdusi p\u00e4rast vabastamist (k\u00f5ik juurdep\u00e4\u00e4sud m\u00e4lule vale pointeri v\u00f5i vabastatud objekti osutava pointeriga p\u00f5hjustavad erandi genereerimise). N\u00e4iteks v\u00f5imaldab CHERIoT-i rakendamine automaatsete piirikontrollide teostamist, m\u00e4lu piirkondade eluiga j\u00e4lgimist ja pointerite terviklikkuse tagamist komponentides, mis t\u00f6\u00f6tlevad usaldusv\u00e4\u00e4rseid andmeid, koodimuudatusi tegemata.      <\/p>\n<p>Projekt h\u00f5lmab CHERIoT pikendatud arhitektuuri k\u00e4skude komplekti spetsifikatsiooni, RISC-V 32-bitise CPU ehtsuse rakendust koos CHERIoT ISA toega ja muudetud LLVM t\u00f6\u00f6riistu. CPU protot\u00fc\u00fcpide skeemid ja seadmeplokkide kirjeldused Verilogi keeles levitatakse Apache 2.0 litsentsi alusel. CPU aluseks on Ibexi tuum lowRISC projektist. CHERIoT ISA koodimudel on m\u00e4\u00e4ratletud Sail keeles ja levitatakse BSD litsentsi alusel.                <\/p>\n<p>T\u00e4iendavalt on esitatud reaalajas operatsioonis\u00fcsteemi protot\u00fc\u00fcp CHERIoT RTOS, mis v\u00f5imaldab compartment (kompartimendi) isolatsiooni isegi 256 MB RAM-iga sisseehitatud s\u00fcsteemides. CHERIoT RTOS-i kood on kirjutatud C++ keeles ning see levib MIT litsentsi alusel.
