Falconit tutvustatakse j\u00e4rgmise p\u00f5lvkonna Ethernetina, mis suudab suurendada l\u00e4bi laskvust ja andmeedastuse efektiivsust olemasolevates Ethernet ja TCP\/IP p\u00f5histes v\u00f5rkudes, mis on l\u00e4bilaskev\u00f5ime ja viivituse osas kriitilised, nagu n\u00e4iteks k\u00f5rge j\u00f5udlusega arvutus- ja tehisintellekti s\u00fcsteemide v\u00f5rgud.    <\/p>\n<p>Protokoll skaleerub andmekeskuse v\u00f5rkudeni ja on projekteeritud tagama ennustatavat suurt j\u00f5udlust, madalaid viivitusi, paindlikkust ja laiendatavust. Falconi esmakordne tugi tuleb Intel IPU E2000 seeria v\u00f5rgukiirendajatest (Infrastructure Processing Unit), mis \u00fchendavad Etherneti adaptri programmiseeritava protsessoriga, kuhu saab viia operatsioone, mida tavaliselt teostatakse v\u00f5rgu stacki v\u00f5i s\u00fcsteemi pool, nagu liikluse juhtimine, \u00fclekande kontroll ja k\u00f5rgemate protokollide t\u00f6\u00f6tlemine.     <\/p>\n<p>Madalate viivituste saavutamiseks k\u00f5rge l\u00e4bilaskev\u00f5imega Etherneti v\u00f5rkudes, mis lubavad pakettide kaotust, kasutab Falcon kolme p\u00f5him\u00f5tet: detailne viivituste m\u00f5\u00f5tmine p\u00e4ringu saatmise ja vastuse saamise vahel (RTT, round-trip time), riistvara tasandil rakendatud liikluse piiramine eraldi voogude seotuse abil ja kiire ning t\u00e4pne paketide kordus\u00fclekanne. Need omadused on t\u00e4iendatud v\u00f5imalustega samaaegseks p\u00f6\u00f6rdumiseks mitme kanali kaudu (Multipath) ja \u00fchenduste kr\u00fcpteerimise toetamisega.      <\/p>\n<p>Falconi elluviimisel kasutatakse j\u00e4rgmisi tehnoloogiaid:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> Carousel \u2014 liikluse piiramise (Traffic Shaping) mehhanism, mis v\u00f5imaldab reguleerida l\u00e4bilaskev\u00f5imet ja pakettide voolu intensiivsust eraldi hostide l\u00f5ikes.\n<li class=\"l\"> Snap \u2014 mikrokernelil p\u00f5hinev v\u00f5rgusub s\u00fcsteem, mida saab laiendada moodulite abil, mis v\u00f5imaldavad lisada t\u00e4iendavat funktsionaalsust, n\u00e4iteks v\u00f5rguv\u00f5imaluste, liikluse piiramise ja s\u00f5numite edastamise funktsioone.\n<li class=\"l\"> Swift \u2014 \u00fclekoormuse juhtimise (Congestion Control) mehhanism andmekeskuste tasemel, mis v\u00f5imaldab saavutada alla 50 mikrosekundi latentsuse l\u00fchikeste RPC-s\u00f5numite puhul, s\u00e4ilitades samas 100Gbps l\u00e4bilaskev\u00f5imet. <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/server\/\"   title=\"server\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">server<\/a> koormuse korral, mis on l\u00e4hedane 100%-le.\n<li class=\"l\"> RACK-TLP \u2014 pakettide kadu m\u00e4\u00e4ramise algoritm TCP jaoks.\n<li class=\"l\"> PLB \u2014 koormuse tasakaalustamise mehhanism, mis kasutab \u00fclekoormuse signaale. P\u00e4rast PLB rakendamist Google'i v\u00f5rkudes v\u00e4henes koormuse tasakaalu puuduj\u00e4\u00e4k l\u00fclititel 60%, pakettide kadu v\u00e4henes 33% ja l\u00fchikeste RPC-s\u00f5numite edastamise latentsus v\u00e4henes 25%.\n<li class=\"l\"> CSIG (Congestion Signaling) \u2014 telemeetriateabe vahetamise protokoll, mida kasutatakse \u00fclekoormuse signaalide saatmiseks ja liikluse juhtimiseks.\n<li class=\"l\"> PSP (PSP Security Protocol) \u2014 liikluse kr\u00fcpteerimise protokoll.  <\/ul>\n<p>Falcon kasutab k\u00f5rgematel tasemetel RDMA ja NVM Express protokolle, kuid v\u00f5imaldab ka lisada toetust t\u00e4iendavatele k\u00f5rgemate tasemete protokollidele laienduste vormis. Falconi funktsionaalsus on m\u00e4\u00e4ratletud kolme taseme j\u00e4rgi: tase, mis vastab k\u00f5rgemate tasemete protokollidele (ULP Mapping), tehingute tase ja pakettide kohaletoimetamise tase. Esimesel tasemel teostatakse voogude haldamine, s\u00f5numite t\u00f6\u00f6tlemine ja vastavusseviimine k\u00f5rgemate tasemete jaoks. Teisel tasemel toimub planeerimine, ressursside haldamine ja j\u00e4rjestamine.
