Kood on kirjutatud C++ keeles ja avaldatud Apache 2.0 litsentsi alusel.    <\/p>\n<p>OSPRay on suunatud peamiselt interaktiivsete rakenduste kasutamiseks, et joonistada stseeni reaalajas. Valguse k\u00e4itumise simuleerimiseks kasutatakse ray tracing'i meetodit. Toetatakse visualiseerimist nii mahus kui ka tasapinnal, fotorealistlikku globaalset valgustust, mille arvestatakse f\u00fc\u00fcsikaliste omadustega, ja t\u00e4iustatud varjutamise efekte (varjud, l\u00e4bipaistvus ja 'Ambient occlusion' varjutamine).    <\/p>\n<p>OSPRay t\u00f6\u00f6tab ilma GPU sidumiseta, v\u00f5imaldades sellel raamatut kasutada laia valiku seadmete seas, alates t\u00f6\u00f6jaamadest kuni arvutuste klastrite s\u00f5lmedeni. \u00d5ige j\u00f5udluse tagamiseks kasutatakse aktiivselt mitme l\u00f5ime t\u00f6\u00f6tlemist ja vektoreeritud protsessimist SIMD-juhiste alusel, nagu Intel SSE4, AVX, AVX2 ja AVX-512 (OSPRay t\u00f6\u00f6tamiseks on v\u00e4hemalt vajalik SSE4.1 toe olemasolu).     <\/p>\n<p>Renderdamine saab jagada mitmele klastrinoodile (toetatakse MPI), mis v\u00f5imaldab n\u00e4iteks OSPRay'd rakendada piltide joonistamiseks v\u00e4ga k\u00f5rges eraldusv\u00f5imes videoseintel, kus \u00fchte pilti genereerib eraldi LCD-paneelide komplekt.
