API muudatus on juba peegeldatud FFmpeg koodibaasis.\n<li class=\"l\"> Kolme l\u00e4bimisega muutuva bitikiirusere\u017eiim (3-pass VBR) on k\u00f5rvaldatud ning selle asemel kasutatakse n\u00fc\u00fcd mitme l\u00e4bimisega VBR mehhanismi. Mitme l\u00e4bimisega VBR-re\u017eiim on v\u00e4hendatud kaheks l\u00e4bimiseks, et tagada integreerimine FFmpegiga.\n<li class=\"l\"> Kodeerijasse on lisatud optimeerimisi, mille t\u00f5ttu on M9-M13 presetide kokkusurumise efektiivsus paranenenud 1-4%, ning M5 preseti m\u00e4lu tarbimine on v\u00e4henenud 20-35% LP 8 re\u017eiimis ja 1-5% teistes re\u017eiimides. Muude presetide m\u00e4lu tarbimine on v\u00e4henenud 1-5%.\n<li class=\"l\"> Optimeeritud on kvaliteedi\/kiirus\u00fc\u00fclesande kompromisse presetide puhul, mis seavad k\u00f5rge kvaliteedi taseme.
