Esimene standardiseeritud algoritm (CRYSTALS-Kyber) m\u00e4\u00e4ratleb v\u00f5tmete kapseldamise meetodi ja on m\u00f5eldud andmevahetuse kr\u00fcpteerimiseks, samas kui kaks teist (CRYSTALS-Dilithium ja Sphincs+) rakendavad digitaalsete allkirjade loomise variante, mida saab kasutada autentimis\u00fclesannete t\u00e4itmisel. Segaduse v\u00e4ltimiseks on standardiseeritud algoritmide variandid \u00fcmber nimetatud: CRYSTALS-Kyber on muutunud ML-KEM-iks, CRYSTALS-Dilithium ML-DSA-ks ja Sphincs+ SLH-DSA-ks. Valitud algoritmid on arenduses alates 2016. aastast ja on varasemalt kuulutatud NIST-i postkvantkr\u00fcpto algoritmide konkursi v\u00f5itjad.      <\/p>\n<p>Viimasel ajal kiiresti arenevad kvantarvutid lahendavad oluliselt kiiremini loomulike arvude tegemise jagamiste \u00fclesandeid, ehk siis RSA-d, ja diskreetse logaritmimise elliptilise k\u00f5vera (ECDSA) punkte, mis on kaasaegsete as\u00fcmmeetiliste kr\u00fcptimisalgoritmide aluseks, mida ei saa klassikalistel protsessoritel t\u00f5husalt lahendada. Praeguste kvantarvutite v\u00f5imalused ei ole veel piisavad aktiivsete klassikaliste kr\u00fcptimisalgoritmide ja digitaalsete allkirjade, n\u00e4iteks ECDSA, murdmiseks, kuid oletatakse, et olukord v\u00f5ib k\u00e4esoleva aastak\u00fcmne jooksul muutuda.    <\/p>\n<p>Kasutusele v\u00f5etud standardid:  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> FIPS 203 \u2014 peamine standard <a href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/ssl-sertifikat\/gogetssl-multi-domain\/\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3313\">andmete kr\u00fcptimine<\/a>, mis kasutab CRYSTALS-Kyber algoritmi (ML-KEM \u2014 Module-Lattice Key-Encapsulation Mechanism) v\u00f5tmevahetuseks osaliste vahel, kes kr\u00fcpteerivad ja dekr\u00fcpteerivad andmeid.
