Kui esimene ZLUDA versioon oli suunatud CUDA rakenduse loomisele Intel GPU-dele ning teine versioon AMD GPU-dele, siis praegu esitatud kolmas versioon keskendub universaalse CUDA rakenduse arendamisele, mis sobib igasuguste GPU-dele, v\u00e4lja arvatud NVIDIA GPU-d. ZLUDA projekti eesm\u00e4rgiks on pakkuda s\u00fcsteemides, mis kasutavad mitte-NVIDIA GPU-sid, v\u00f5imalust k\u00e4itada muutmata CUDA rakendusi, mis saavutanud j\u00f5udluse, mis on l\u00e4hedane rakenduste j\u00f5udlusele, mis t\u00f6\u00f6tavad ilma vahekihtideta. Projekti kood j\u00e4tkab levimist MIT ja Apache 2.0 litsentside alusel.     <\/p>\n<p>Alguses arendati ZLUDA projekti Intel GPU-de jaoks, kuid 2021. aastal leidis ettev\u00f5te, et CUDA rakenduste k\u00e4itamise v\u00f5imaluse pakkumine Intel GPU-del ei ole \u00e4ri huvides ja ei toetanud algatuse j\u00e4tkuvat arengut. 2022. aasta alguses lahkus arendaja Intelist ja s\u00f5lmis leping AMD-ga, et v\u00e4lja t\u00f6\u00f6tada CUDA \u00fchilduvuse kiht selle ettev\u00f5tte GPU-de jaoks. Kaks aastat hiljem kaotas AMD huvi CUDA rakenduste k\u00e4itamise v\u00f5imaluse vastu oma GPU-del.     <\/p>\n<p>Lepingu tingimuste kohaselt ja p\u00e4rast AMD esindaja poolt e-posti teel antud avaldamisluba avas Andrzej koodi, mille ta oli loonud t\u00f6\u00f6tades AMD-s ja mis v\u00f5imaldas k\u00e4itada CUDA rakendusi AMD arendatava ROCm ja HIP (Heterogeense arvutamise \u00fchilduvuse liides) raami kohal. Kuus kuud p\u00e4rast avaldamist v\u00f5tsid AMD juristid Andrzejga \u00fchendust ja tegid selgeks, et eelnevalt antud luba ei oma juriidilist j\u00f5udu. Tulemusena pidi Andrzej eemaldama avatud juurdep\u00e4\u00e4sust ZLUDA koodi, mis oli loodud tema ajal AMD-s.    <\/p>\n<p>Uus ZLUDA versioon p\u00f5hineb koodibaasil, mis eksisteeris enne Andrzeji t\u00f6\u00f6 algust AMD-s, see ei ole seotud \u00fchegi konkreetse GPU-ga ning keskendub rakenduste t\u00e4itmisele, mis kasutavad CUDA-d masina\u00f5ppe ja tehisintellekti \u00fclesannete kiirendamiseks (varem oli ZLUDA suunatud peamiselt sisu loomise rakendustele nagu Arnold Render, Blender ja 3DF Zephyr). Lisaks on plaanis v\u00f5imaldada Llama.cpp, PyTorch ja TensorFlow raamistike t\u00f6\u00f6lemineku ZLUDA \u00fcle, rakendades NVIDIA GPU-dele CUDA optimeeringuid.     <\/p>\n<p>Esmakordselt keskendub projekt AMD GPU-del t\u00f6\u00f6tamisele, kuid hiljem kohandatakse see Intel GPU-de jaoks. AMD GPU-de rakendamine luuakse nullist, toetamaks GPU-sid, mis p\u00f5hinevad v\u00e4hemalt RDNA1 k\u00e4surea arhitektuuril, ja kasutab ROCm 6.1+ teeki ROCm 5 asemel, mida kasutati varasemates AMD rakendustes.
