Toetatakse t\u00f6\u00f6tamist Linuxi (x86_64), Windowsi (x86_64, Aarch64) ja macOS-i (x86_64, Aarch64) p\u00f5hialuseid, kasutades nende operatsioonis\u00fcsteemide API-sid virtuaalh\u00e4\u00e4lestuseks: KVM, SHV (Microsoft Hypervisor), WHP (Windows Hypervisor Platform) ja Hypervisor.framework.     <\/p>\n<p>OpenVMM-i toetatud funktsioonide hulgas on:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"l\"> UEFI ja BIOS re\u017eiimides k\u00e4ivitamine, Linuxi tuuma otsek\u00e4ivitamine;\n<li class=\"l\"> Virtio-p\u00f5hiselt paravirtualiseerimise tugi (virtio-fs, virtio-9p, virtio-net, virtio-pmem);\n<li class=\"l\">  VMBus-p\u00f5hiselt paravirtualiseerimise tugi (storvsp, netvsp, vpci, framebuffer);\n<li class=\"l\"> vTPM, NVMe, UART, i440BX + PIIX4 kiibistik, IDE HDD, PCI ja VGA emulatsioon;\n<li class=\"l\"> Graafika, sisendseadmete, konsooli, salvestusseadmete ja v\u00f5rgu\u00fchenduse edastamise tagapinnad;\n<li class=\"l\"> Haldus k\u00e4surealiidese, interaktiivse konsooli, gRPC ja ttrpc kaudu.  <\/ul>\n<p>OpenHCL paigutatakse kui komponentide paravirtualiseerimise keskkond, mis t\u00f6\u00f6tab OpenVMM h\u00fcperviisori kohal. OpenVMM ja OpenHCL p\u00f5hinevate virtualiseerimiss\u00fcsteemide v\u00f5tmeomadus on see, et paravirtualiseerimise komponendid ei t\u00f6\u00f6ta host-s\u00fcsteemi k\u00fcljel, vaid \u00fches virtuaalses masinas koos k\u00fclaliss\u00fcsteemiga. Paravirtualiseerimise kihi isoleerimist k\u00fclalisoperatsioonis\u00fcsteemist tagab teise taseme h\u00fcperviisor OpenVMM. Sellisel hulgal on OpenHCL \u00f5igustatud kui virtuaalne p\u00fcsivara, mis t\u00f6\u00f6tab k\u00f5rgema privileegide tasemega kui k\u00fclaliskeskkonnas t\u00f6\u00f6tav operatsioonis\u00fcsteem.            <\/p>\n<p> K\u00fclastuss\u00fcsteemi ja OpenHCL-i komponente eraldatakse virtuaalsete usaldustasandite (VTL, Virtual Trust Level) kontseptsiooni kaudu, mille rakendamiseks v\u00f5ivad kasutada nii tarkvaralisi mehhanisme kui ka riistvaratehnoloogiaid, nagu Intel TDX (Trust Domain Extensions), AMD SEV-SNP (Secure Encrypted Virtualization-Secure Nested Paging) ja ARM CCA (Confidential Compute Architecture). OpenHCL-i komponentide t\u00e4itmiseks kasutatakse k\u00e4rbitud Linuxi kerneli versiooni, milles on sees vaid minimaalne hulk komponente, mis on vajalikud OpenVMM-i toimimiseks.    <center><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Microsoft avas h\u00fcperviisori OpenVMM ja paravirtualiseerimise platvormi OpenHCL koodi.\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/e998f3109604aad0946a76e3fc7d5233.png\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/center>    <\/p>\n<p>OpenHCL v\u00f5ib t\u00f6\u00f6tada x86-64 ja ARM64 platvormidel ning toetab Intel TDX, AMD SEV-SNP ja ARM CCA laiendusi, et tagada t\u00e4iendav isolatsioon. OpenHCL sisaldab teenuste, draiverite ja emulaatorite komplekti, mida kasutatakse riistvarale ligip\u00e4\u00e4su korraldamiseks, k\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemi virtuaalsete seadmete t\u00f6\u00f6 tagamiseks ja riistvaraseadmete emuleerimiseks (n\u00e4iteks v\u00f5ib emuleerida kr\u00fcptograafiliste v\u00f5tmete s\u00e4ilitamise kiipi \u2014 vTPM).     <\/p>\n<p>K\u00fclaliss\u00fcsteemi seadme juurdep\u00e4\u00e4su edastamiseks kasutatakse olemasolevaid parasiitvirtualiseerimise toetavaid draivereid v\u00f5i v\u00f5ib seadmeid otse virtuaalmasinale manustada, mis v\u00f5imaldab olemasolevaid k\u00fclaliss\u00fcsteeme OpenHCL p\u00f5hisesse keskkonda \u00fcle viia ilma muudatusi tegemata. Lisaks sisaldab OpenHCL komponente diagnostikaks ja t\u00f5rkeotsinguks <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/vps\/\"   title=\"virtuaalmasinad\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2180\">virtuaalmasinad<\/a>, mis toimuvad privaatsete arvutuste tagamise laienduste abil.    <\/p>\n<p>Erinevalt juba olemasolevast avatud projektist COCONUT-SVSM (Secure VM Service Module), mis pakub teenuseid ja emuleeritud seadmeid k\u00fclalis s\u00fcsteemidele, mis t\u00f6\u00f6tavad privaatsetes <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/vps\/abuzoustojchivye-vps\/\"   title=\"virtuaalmasinatel\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4290\">virtuaalmasinatel<\/a> (CVM, Confidential Virtual Machine), v\u00f5imaldab OpenHCL k\u00fclaliss\u00fcsteemides kasutada standardseid liideseid, samas kui COCONUT-SVSM n\u00f5uab spetsiaalse suhtlemise korraldamist SVSM-iga, k\u00fclaliss\u00fcsteemi muudatusi ja eraldi draiverite kasutamist.      <\/p>\n<p>OpenHCL paravirtualiseerimise rakenduste hulka kuuluvad n\u00e4iteks olemasolevate s\u00fcsteemide \u00fcleviimine Azure Boosti riistvarakiirendite kasutamiseks ilma vajaduseta teha muudatusi k\u00fclaliss\u00fcsteemi kettapildis; olemasolevate k\u00fclaliss\u00fcsteemide k\u00e4itamine virtuaalmasinates, mis pakuvad privaatsusliugureid (nt Intel TDX ja AMD SEV-SNP baasil); virtuaalmasinate veendunud k\u00e4ivitamise korraldamine, kasutades UEFI Secure Boot ja vTPM re\u017eiimi.    <\/p>\n<p>Eraldi tasub m\u00e4rkida, et OpenVMM projekt keskendub OpenHCL-i kasutamisele ja pole veel valmis eraldiseisvaks kasutamiseks host-s\u00fcsteemides l\u00f5ppkasutajate t\u00f6\u00f6de jaoks.
