OpenVMM-i ja OpenHCL-i virtuaalsetes s\u00fcsteemides on peamine omadus see, et paravirtuaalsuse komponendid t\u00f6\u00f6tavad mitte perhhiss\u00fcsteemi, vaid k\u00fclgmise s\u00fcsteemi virtuaalmasinas. Paravirtuaalsuse kaitseb OpenVMM-i teine taseme hypervisor. Sellisel rakendamisel saab OpenHCL-d k\u00e4sitleda kui virtuaalset tarkvara, mis t\u00f6\u00f6tab k\u00f5rgemal privileegitasemel kui k\u00fclgmise s\u00fcsteemi operatsioonis\u00fcsteem.            <\/p>\n<p> K\u00fclgmise s\u00fcsteemi ja OpenHCL-i komponentide eristamine teostatakse virtuaalsete usaldustasemete (VTL, Virtual Trust Level) kontseptsiooni abil, mille rakendamiseks v\u00f5ivad kasutada nii tarkvara mehhanismid kui ka riistvaratehnoloogiad, n\u00e4iteks Intel TDX (Trust Domain Extensions), AMD SEV-SNP (Secure Encrypted Virtualization-Secure Nested Paging) ja ARM CCA (Confidential Compute Architecture). OpenHCL sisaldab teenuste, draiverite ja emulaatorite komplekti, mida kasutatakse riistvara ligip\u00e4\u00e4su korraldamiseks, k\u00fclg-s\u00fcsteemi virtuaalsete seadmete t\u00f6\u00f6 tagamiseks ning riistvaraseadmete emuleerimiseks (n\u00e4iteks v\u00f5ib emuleerida kr\u00fcptograafiliste v\u00f5tmete salvestamise kiipi - vTPM).     <\/p>\n<p>K\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemi riistvarale juurdep\u00e4\u00e4su edastamiseks kasutatakse olemasolevaid draivereid, mis toetavad paravirtualiseerimist, v\u00f5i v\u00f5ib teostada seadmete otse sidumist virtuaalmasinaga, mis v\u00f5imaldab olemasolevate k\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemide viimist OpenHCL baasil keskkonda ilma nendesse muudatusi tegemata. Lisaks sisaldab OpenHCL komponente diagnoosimiseks ja t\u00f5rkeotsinguks <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/vps\/\"   title=\"virtuaalmasinate\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"2180\">virtuaalmasinate<\/a>, mis toimub konfidentsiaalsete arvutuste tagamiseks m\u00f5eldud laienduste kasutamisel.    <\/p>\n<p>Erinevalt juba olemasolevast avatud projektist COCONUT-SVSM (Secure VM Service Module), mis pakub teenuseid ja emuleeritud seadmeid konfidentsiaalsetes k\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemides, <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/vps\/abuzoustojchivye-vps\/\"   title=\"virtuaalmasinaid\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"4290\">virtuaalmasinaid<\/a> (CVM, Confidental Virtual Machine), v\u00f5imaldab OpenHCL kasutada k\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemides standardseid liideseid, samas kui COCONUT-SVSM n\u00f5uab SVSM-iga spetsiaalsete sidemete korraldamist, k\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemi muudatusi ja eraldi draiverite kasutamist.      <\/p>\n<p>OpenHCL paravirtualisaatori rakenduste hulka kuuluvad sellised stsenaariumid nagu olemasolevate s\u00fcsteemide viimine Azure Boost riistvarakiirendite kasutamisele ilma k\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemi diskipildi muutmiseta; olemasolevate k\u00fclgs\u00fcsteemide k\u00e4itamine virtuaalmasinates, mis tagavad konfidentsiaalsed arvutused (n\u00e4iteks Intel TDX ja AMD SEV-SNP baasil); virtuaalmasinate kontrollitud alglaadimise korraldamine, kasutades UEFI Secure Boot ja vTPM re\u017eiimi.    <\/p>\n<p>Erakordselt m\u00e4rgitakse, et OpenVMM projekt keskendub OpenHCL kasutamisele ja ei ole veel valmis iseseisvaks rakendamiseks host-s\u00fcsteemides l\u00f5ppkasutajate t\u00f6\u00f6de jaoks.
