Ubuntu 25.10 v\u00e4ljaanne, mille v\u00e4ljaandmise kuup\u00e4ev on 9. oktoober, toetab vaikimisi Dracuti kasutamist alglaadimisdiskide (initrd) loomisel, asendades initramfs-tools paketi, mille areng on viimastel aastatel peatunud ja mille hooldus on piiratud. Kuna 25.10 v\u00e4ljaanne on maist augustist alates k\u00fclmutatud, mis ei luba uute funktsioonide lisamist, anti Dracuti \u00fclemineku jaoks v\u00e4ljaandetehnilise meeskonna poolt erand.
