Lisaks j\u00e4tkavad ka konkurentsiv\u00f5imelised lahendused t\u00e4iustamist. Just seet\u00f5ttu avaldame uue, v\u00e4rskema versiooni v\u00f5rdlevatest koormustestidest ESG-lt. <\/p>\n<p>Suvel 2018 viis labor ESG l\u00e4bi Cisco HyperFlexi kordusv\u00f5rdluse konkurentidega. Arvestades kaasaegset suundumust tarkvara m\u00e4\u00e4ratud lahenduste kasutamisel, lisati v\u00f5rdlevasse anal\u00fc\u00fcsi ka selliste platvormide tootjad. <\/p>\n<h2>Testkonfiguratsioonid<\/h2>\n<p>\nHyperFlexi katsetamisel v\u00f5rreldi kahte t\u00e4ielikult tarkvarap\u00f5hist h\u00fcperkonvergents\u00fcsteemi, mis on installitud standardsetele x86 serveritele, ning \u00fcht tarkvara-riistvara lahendust. Katsetamine toimus h\u00fcperkonvergents\u00fcsteemide standardse tarkvara \u2013 HCIBench \u2013 abil, mis kasutab Oracle Vdbench'i t\u00f6\u00f6riista ja automatiseerib katsetamisprotsessi. Eriti automaatselt loob HCIBench virtuaalmasinaid, koordineerib nende vahel koormust ja genereerib mugavaid ning arusaadavaid aruandeid. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Klastrisse loodi 140 virtuaalmasinat (35 iga klastri s\u00f5lme kohta). Iga virtuaalmasin kasutas 4 vCPU-d ja 4 GB RAM-i. VM-i kohalik k\u00f5vaketas oli 16 GB ja lisadisk 40 GB.<br \/>\n<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" name=\"habracut\"><\/a><\/noindex><br \/>\nKatsetamises osalesid j\u00e4rgmised klastri konfiguratsioonid:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>neli s\u00f5lme Cisco HyperFlex 220C klaster 1 x 400 GB SSD vahem\u00e4lu jaoks ja 6 x 1.2 TB SAS HDD andmete jaoks;<\/li>\n<li>konkurendi Vendor A nelja s\u00f5lme klaster 2 x 400 GB SSD vahem\u00e4lu jaoks ja 4 x 1 TB SATA HDD andmete jaoks;<\/li>\n<li>konkurendi Vendor B nelja s\u00f5lme klaster 2 x 400 GB SSD vahem\u00e4lu jaoks ja 12 x 1.2 TB SAS HDD andmete jaoks;<\/li>\n<li>konkurendi Vendor C nelja s\u00f5lme klaster 4 x 480 GB SSD vahem\u00e4lu jaoks ja 12 x 900 GB SAS HDD andmete jaoks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nK\u00f5igi lahenduste protsessorid ja m\u00e4lu olid identsed.<\/p>\n<h2>Virtuaalmasinate arvu test<\/h2>\n<p>\nTest algas koormusega, mis simuleeris standardset OLTP testi: lugemine\/kirjutamine (RW) 70%\/30%, 100% FullRandom sihtv\u00e4\u00e4rtusega 800 IOPS \u00fche virtuaalmasina (VM) kohta. Test viidi l\u00e4bi 140 VM-i iga klastris kolme-nelja tunni jooksul. Testi eesm\u00e4rk oli s\u00e4ilitada kirjutamise latentsus maksimaalses arvus VM-ides 5 millisekundi v\u00f5i madalama tasemega. <\/p>\n<p>Testi tulemusena (vt allolevat graafikut) osutus HyperFlex ainukeseks platvormiks, mis l\u00f5petas selle testi algsete 140 VM-iga ja latentsusega alla 5 ms (4,95 ms). Iga teise klastriga kanti test uuesti l\u00e4bi, et katsetuste k\u00e4igus kohandada VM-ide arvu sihtlatentsuse 5 ms t\u00e4itmiseks. <\/p>\n<p>Vendor A suudab 70 VM-iga hakkama saada keskmise reageerimisajaga 4,65 ms.<br \/>\nVendor B saavutas n\u00f5utavad latentsused 5,37 ms. ainult 36 VM-iga. <br \/>\nVendor C suutis taluda 48 virtuaalmasinat reageerimisajaga 5,02 ms.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cisco HyperFlex vs. konkurendid: testime tulemuslikkust\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/0697a4ad28f5affb888f036b0dfc9519.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<h2>SQL Server koormuse simuleerimine<\/h2>\n<p>\nEdasi ESG Lab simuleeris SQL Serveri koormust. Testis kasutati erineva suurusega bloke ja lugemise\/kirjutamise suhteid. Test k\u00e4idi ka 140 virtuaalmasinal.<\/p>\n<p>Nagu on n\u00e4idatud alloleval joonisel, \u00fcletas Cisco HyperFlex klaster peaaegu kaks korda IOPS-idelt teenusepakkujat A ja B ning teenusepakkujat C enam kui viis korda. Cisco HyperFlex'i keskmine reageerimisaeg oli 8,2 ms. V\u00f5rdluseks, teenusepakkuja A keskmine reaktsiooniaeg oli 30,6 ms, teenusepakkuja B - 12,8 ms ja teenusepakkuja C - 10,33 ms.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cisco HyperFlex vs. konkurendid: testime tulemuslikkust\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/11a24b1d76d7207a56dcc1f5da041cd9.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\nK\u00f5igi testide k\u00e4igus tehti huvitav t\u00e4helepanek. Teenusepakkuja B n\u00e4itas keskmise IOPS-i j\u00f5udluse osas erinevate virtuaalmasinate vahel suurt varieeruvust. See t\u00e4hendab, et koormus oli jaotatud \u00e4\u00e4rmiselt eba\u00fchtlaselt, m\u00f5ned virtuaalmasinad t\u00f6\u00f6tasid keskmise v\u00e4\u00e4rtusega \u00fcle 1000 IOPS-i, samas kui teised ainult 64 IOPS-i. Cisco HyperFlex paistis sel juhul oluliselt stabiilsem, k\u00f5igil 140 virtuaalmasinal oli keskmiselt 600 IOPS-i andmesalvestuse s\u00fcsteemist, mist\u00f5ttu koormus virtuaalmasinate vahel jaotati v\u00e4ga \u00fchtlaselt.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Cisco HyperFlex vs. konkurendid: testime tulemuslikkust\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/1734468d3c62d2031daa18ae29d03c8e.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><br \/>\n<br \/>\nOluline on m\u00e4rkida, et sellist eba\u00fchtlast IOPS-i jaotust virtuaalmasinate vahel teenusepakkujatel B t\u00e4heldati igas testimise iteratsioonis. <\/p>\n<p>Reaalses tootmises v\u00f5ib selline s\u00fcsteemi k\u00e4itumine olla administratsioonile suur probleem, kuna eraldi virtuaalmasinad hakkavad juhuslikult \"hanguma\" ja selle protsessi kontrollimiseks ei ole praktiliselt mingit v\u00f5imalust. Ainus, mitte eriti t\u00f5hus koormuse tasakaalustamise meetod B tootja lahenduse puhul on QoS-i v\u00f5i tasakaalustamise rakendamine.<\/p>\n<h2>Kokkuv\u00f5te<\/h2>\n<p>\nK\u00fcsimus on, mis toimub, kui Cisco Hyperflexil on 140 virtuaalmasinat 1 f\u00fc\u00fcsilise s\u00f5lme kohta v\u00f5rreldes 70 v\u00f5i v\u00e4hem teiste lahendustega? \u00c4ri jaoks t\u00e4hendab see, et Hyperflexi sama arvu rakenduste toetamiseks on vaja 2 korda v\u00e4hem s\u00f5lmi kui konkurentide lahendustes, st l\u00f5plik s\u00fcsteem on oluliselt odavam. Kui lisada siia ka k\u00f5ikide v\u00f5rgu, serverite ja HX Data Platformi salvestusplatvormi hooldusoperatsioonide automatiseerimise tase, on selge, miks Cisco Hyperflexi lahendused turul kiiresti populaarsust koguvad. <\/p>\n<p>\u00dcldiselt on ESG labor kinnitanud, et h\u00fcbriidsed Cisco HyperFlex versioonid HX 3.0 pakuvad k\u00f5rgemat ja stabiilsemat j\u00f5udlust kui teised sarnased lahendused. <\/p>\n<p>Samuti \u00fcletasid h\u00fcbriidklastrid HyperFlex konkurente IOPS ja latentsuse n\u00e4itajates.
