Sest enamikul juhtudel seisneb failis\u00fcsteemi loomine selles, et kettale salvestatakse vaid m\u00f5ned teenuseteabe plokid, samas kui muu sisu ei muutu.<\/p>\n<p>Ja veel \u2014 puhtalt empiiriliselt \u2014 v\u00f5ib oletada, et failis\u00fcsteem ei pruugi alati kasutada kogu etten\u00e4htud ruumi viimase sektorini. N\u00e4iteks FAT16 failis\u00fcsteem, mille klastrite suurus on 64 kilobaiti, ei suuda ilmselgelt t\u00e4ielikult \u00e4ra kasutada osa, mille suurus ei ole 64 kilobaiti. Sellise osa l\u00f5pus peab j\u00e4\u00e4ma \u201eotsi\u201c m\u00f5nest sektorist, mis ei ole kasutatav kasutajaandmete salvestamiseks. Siiski, seda oletust ei \u00f5nnestunud eksperimentaalselt kinnitada.<\/p>\n<p>Seega, et maksimeerida ruumi, mis on saadaval steganogrammile, tuleb kasutada suurema klastrite suurusega failis\u00fcsteemi. Samuti on v\u00f5imalik luua osa, isegi kui see ei ole vajalik (n\u00e4iteks m\u00e4lupulgale).
