Lihtsatel AVR mikrocontrolleritel on lehek\u00fclje suurus 128 baiti, kuid ATmega128RFA1-l on see 256 baiti. Samuti on see sama SPI protokolli kaudu \u00fchendatud v\u00e4lkm\u00e4lus. Esimeses seadmes, kui sket\u0161i \u00fcleslaadimine toimub, ei edastata seda kohe teise seadmesse, vaid kirjutatakse see m\u00e4lu. Kui Arduino IDE kontrollib kirjutamise \u00f5igsust, saadetakse sellele see, mis sinna on salvestatud. N\u00fc\u00fcd tuleb edastada saadud andmed raadiokanalil teise seadmesse. Sel juhul toimub vastuv\u00f5tult edastamisele ja tagasi l\u00fclitumine \u00fcsna tihti. Protokoll STK500 on viivituste suhtes \u00fcksk\u00f5ikne, kuid ei talu andmete kaotsiminekut (imet, eelnevalt \u00f6eldi, et andmete edastamise viivitused m\u00f5jutavad samuti). Kuid kaotused juhtmevabas edastamises on v\u00e4ltimatud. ATmega128RFA1-l on sisseehitatud riistvaraline kordusk\u00fcsimise teostus kahtluse korral edastamise \u00f5igsusest, kuid autor otsustas selle ise programmeerida.
