Siiski on arendajad varustanud iga s\u00f5lme t\u00e4iendavate slotidega NAND-m\u00e4lukiipide \u00fchendamiseks.<\/p>\n<h2>Arhitektuuri potentsiaal<\/h2>\n<p>\nMIT insenerid v\u00e4idavad, et LightStore'i p\u00f5hine lahenduse l\u00e4bilaskev\u00f5ime on 620 Mbit\/s 10-gigabitise Ethernet'i puhul. \u00dcks s\u00f5lm tarbib 10 W, v\u00f5rreldes tavap\u00e4raste 20 W-ga (t\u00e4na andmekeskustes kasutatavate SSD-s\u00fcsteemide puhul). Lisaks on riistvara kaks korda v\u00e4iksem.<\/p>\n<p>Praegu muudavad arendajad m\u00f5ningaid aspekte. N\u00e4iteks ei oska LightStore tegeleda vahemiku p\u00e4ringute ja v\u00e4ikeste p\u00e4ringutega. Need funktsioonid lisatakse tulevikus, kuna LightStore kasutab LSM-puid. Samuti on s\u00fcsteemil hetkel piiratud adapterite komplekt \u2014 toetatakse YCSB- ja ploki-adaptereid.
