Oleme moderniseerinud meie laboratoorse AERODISK ENGINE N2 seadme, paigaldades sinna t\u00e4iendavad SAS SSD-diskid ning Front-end adapterid Fibre Channel 16G. Samaaegselt oleme moderniseerinud ka serverit, millest koormust hakkame rakendama, lisades sinna FC 16G adapterid.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Kokkuv\u00f5ttes on meil laboris 2-juhtmega salvestuslahendus 24 SAS SSD 1,6 TB kettaga, 3 DWPD, mis on \u00fchendatud f\u00fc\u00fcsilise Linux-serveriga SAN-l\u00fclitite kaudu FC 16G.<br \/>\nTesti seade on toodud alloleval joonisel.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Venemaa seadme AERODISK: koormustestimine. Pigistame v\u00e4lja IOPS-e\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/3c2333896b91cc3ff3902b3899a37ada.jpeg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"metodika-testirovaniya\">Testimise meetod<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Parima blokeeritud juurdep\u00e4\u00e4su saavutamiseks kasutame DDP (d\u00fcnaamiline kettapaik), mille loomisega tegelesime spetsiaalselt ALL-FLASH s\u00fcsteemide jaoks.<br \/>\nTestimiseks l\u00f5ime kaks LUN-i, mille suurus on 1 TB iga\u00fche kohta RAID-10 taseme kaitsega. Iga LUN-i \u201ejagame\u201d 12 kettale (kokku 24), et maksimaalselt kasutada iga salvestuslahenduse ketta potentsiaali. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Esitame LUN-id serverile erinevate kontrollerite kaudu, et maksimaalselt rakendada salvestuslahenduse ressursse. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Iga test kestab \u00fche tunni ja testid viiakse l\u00e4bi Flexible IO (FIO) programmiga, FIO andmed salvestatakse automaatselt Excelisse, kus ehitatakse graafikud visuaalsuse huvides. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"profili-nagruzki\">Koormusprofiilid<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Kokku viime l\u00e4bi kolm \u00fche tunni testi, arvestamata soojendamise aega, milleks etten\u00e4htud on 15 minutit (just nii kaua kulub 24 SSD-ketta soojendamiseks). Need testid modelleerivad meiega k\u00f5ige sagedamini esinevaid koormusprofiile, sealhulgas erinevaid andmebaasis\u00fcsteeme, videovalves\u00fcsteeme, meedia kandmis\u00fcsteeme ja varundusprotsesse. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Lisaks oleme k\u00f5ikide testide jooksul teadlikult l\u00fclitanud v\u00e4lja vahem\u00e4lu v\u00f5imaluse m\u00e4lus salvestuslahenduses ja hostis. Tulemused, iseenesest m\u00f5istetavalt, halvendavad seda, kuid meie arvates muudab see testi sellistes tingimustes ausamaks. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"rezultaty-testov\">Testi tulemused<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Test nr 1. This indicates that this storage system is far from its limits and can still be scaled up without issues. To jump ahead a bit: all subsequent tests also showed controller CPU loads around 50%, so we won't repeat those results.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Based on our lab tests, a comfortable limit for the AERODISK Engine N2 system, when considering random IOPS for 4k blocks, is approximately 700,000 IOPS. If that's insufficient and you need to reach a million, we have the higher model ENGINE N4. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>So, the story about millions of IOPS pertains to the ENGINE N4, but if a million is too much for you, feel free to use the N2.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Returning to the tests.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Test No. 2. Sequential writing with large blocks.<\/strong> Emulating surveillance systems, loading data into an analytical DBMS, or writing backups.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>In this test, we are no longer interested in IOPS, as they make no sense under sequential load with large blocks. Compared to our nearest foreign competitors, this result is excellent in our view, and it is also not the limit of the ENGINE N2 system.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Test No. 3. This is not an error; during sequential reading with large blocks, this situation is common for us. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Of course, if we leave the system in this state for a couple of weeks, we will eventually see periodic spikes on the graphs due to external factors. But overall, they won\u2019t affect the overall picture.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"vyvody\">J\u00e4reldused<\/h2>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Kaksikontrollerilise AERODISK ENGINE N2 s\u00fcsteemiga suutsime saavutada p\u00e4ris muljetavaldavaid n\u00e4itajaid (~438 000 IOPS ja ~5-6 gigabaiti sekundis). Koormustestid n\u00e4itasid, et meie andmem\u00e4lu ei ole v\u00e4\u00e4r.
