SVT-AV1 peamine eesm\u00e4rk on saavutada j\u00f5udluse tase, mis sobib videote reenkodeerimiseks reaalajas ning kasutamiseks n\u00f5udep\u00f5histes videoteenustes (VOD). Kood areneb avatud projekti OpenVisualCloud raames, mis arendab ka kodeerijaid. <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/OpenVisualCloud\/SVT-HEVC\">SVT-HEVC<\/a><\/noindex> ja <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/OpenVisualCloud\/SVT-VP9\">SVT-VP9<\/a><\/noindex>, ja <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/OpenVisualCloud\/\">levitatakse<\/a><\/noindex> BSD litsentsi all. <\/p>\n<p>SVT-AV1 kasutamiseks on vajalik v\u00e4hemalt Intel Core viienda p\u00f5lvkonna protsessor (Intel Xeon E5-v4 ja uuemad CPU-d). 10-bitiste AV1 voogude kodeerimiseks 4K kvaliteedis on vajalik 48 GB RAM, 1080p puhul 16 GB, 720p puhul 8 GB ja 480p puhul 4 GB. AV1 algoritmide keerukuse t\u00f5ttu on selle formaadi kodeerimiseks vaja tunduvalt rohkem ressursse kui muude formaatide puhul, mis ei v\u00f5imalda kasutada tavap\u00e4rast AV1 kodeerijat reaalajas \u00fcmber kodeerimiseks. N\u00e4iteks tavap\u00e4rase kodeerija puhul projekti AV1<br \/>\n<noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opennet.ru\/opennews\/art.shtml?num=48429\">n\u00f5uab<\/a><\/noindex> 5721, 5869 ja 658 korda rohkem arvutusi v\u00f5rreldes kodeerijatega x264 (profiil \u201emain\u201c), x264 (profiil \u201ehigh\u201c) ja libvpx-vp9. <\/p>\n<p>Uue SVT-AV1 v\u00e4ljaande muudatustest on m\u00e4rgitud algse dekodeerija rakendamise lisamine (varem toetati ainult kodeerimist) ja staatilise raamatukogu sidumise toetus.
