Geekbench 5 (OpenCL) benchmark database has revealed three entries testing the graphics of Intel's 12th generation, one with the Tiger Lake-U processor and two others with desktop Coffee Lake Refresh. Definitely, the dedicated accelerators tested were the Core i5-9600K and Core i9-9900K, while for the Tiger Lake, both the integrated and dedicated versions of the Intel Xe DG1 could have been tested.<\/p>\n

Regardless, the test confirmed that the Intel Xe GPU has 96 execution units (Execution Units, EU), and its clock frequency ranges from 1.0 to 1.5 GHz in various tests. This GPU achieved scores between 11,990 and 12,444 points. So, even if both the integrated and dedicated versions of the Intel Xe DG1 were indeed tested here, the difference between them is minimal.<\/p>\n

The results from the 3DMark tests look even more interesting as it's almost certain that both the integrated and dedicated versions of the new Intel graphics were tested. In one test, again with the Core i5-9600K, the dedicated version of the Intel Xe DG1 scored 6,286 points, slightly higher than the integrated graphics of the Ryzen 7 4800U (6,121 points). In another test, the integrated graphics of the Tiger Lake-U processor reached 3,957 points, significantly lower than the Vega graphics in the Ryzen 7 4700U (4,699 points).<\/p>\n

Finally, results testing the Intel Xe DG1 graphics were found in the 3DMark TimeSpy benchmark. It's almost certain that this involved testing both the integrated and dedicated versions of the GPU. The clock frequencies of the GPU are not specified, however, the dedicated version turned out to be nearly 9% faster than the 'integrated version', apparently due to its higher frequency.<\/p>\n
