Eemaldame rackist 2\u20134 \u00fcksust switchide, pat\u0161ipaneelide ja organiseerijate jaoks. F\u00fc\u00fcsiliselt mahub meie racki Sh=rounddown((H-2..4)\/h) servereid (st Sh = rounddown((47-4)\/2)=21 serverit racki kohta). Salvestame selle Sh.<\/p>\n<p>Lihtsas olukorras on k\u00f5ik racki serverid \u00fchesugused. Seega, kui t\u00e4idame racki <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/prohoster.info\/et\/server\/dts-dusseldorf\/\"   title=\"serveritega\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"3426\">serveritega<\/a>, saame keskmiselt iga serveri kohta anda v\u00f5imsust Pserv=Prack\/Sh (Pserv = 6000 W\/21 = 287 W). Lihtsuse huvides ignoreerime siin switchi tarbimist.<\/p>\n<p>Teeme sammu k\u00f5rvale ja m\u00e4\u00e4ratleme, mis on serveri maksimaalne tarbimine Pmax. Saame konkreetse serveri maksimaalse tarbimise konkreetse konfiguratsiooni all nendes konkreetsetes tingimustes selle konkreetse koormuse all. Lihtsalt tuleb meeles pidada, et uus s\u00fcsteemi p\u00fcsivara, tarkvara versioon v\u00f5i muud tingimused v\u00f5ivad tulemusi m\u00f5jutada.<\/p>\n<p>Kokkuv\u00f5ttes, p\u00f6\u00f6rdume tagasi Pservi juurde ja kuidas me saame seda v\u00f5rrelda Pmaxiga. Et uus firmware versioon ei muudaks oluliselt ventilaatorite ja energiatarbimise t\u00f6\u00f6v\u00f5imet, et arendajad ei hakkaks \u00e4kki uue v\u00e4ljalaskega servereid palju efektiivsemalt kasutama (loe: ei saavuta suuremat koormust ja suuremat energiatarbimist serveri kohta). Sest siis saavad k\u00f5ik meie esialgsed eeldused ja j\u00e4reldused kohe valev\u00e4\u00e4rseks. See on risk, mille vastutustundlikult tuleb v\u00f5tta (v\u00f5i v\u00e4ltida ja maksta siis ilmselgelt alakoormatud rack'ide eest).<\/p>\n<p>Oluline m\u00e4rkus \u2014 serverite jaotamine erinevate teenuste vahel horisontaalselt, kui see on v\u00f5imalik, on soovitatav. See on vajalik, et v\u00e4ltida olukordi, kus \u00fche teenuse serverid saabuvad samal ajal ja paigaldatakse vertikaalselt riiulitesse tiheduse suurendamiseks (sest see on lihtsam). Tegelikult t\u00e4hendab see, et \u00fcks riiul on t\u00e4is sama madala koormusega servereid \u00fchest teenusest, samas kui teine on t\u00e4is \u00fchtlaselt k\u00f5rge koormusega servereid. Teise riiuli t\u00f5rke t\u00f5en\u00e4osus on palju suurem, kuna koormusprofiil on sama ja k\u00f5ik need serverid samaaegselt hakkavad koormuse suurenemise t\u00f5ttu tarbima sama palju.<\/p>\n<p>Naasume tagasi serverite jaotamisele kappidest. Oleme uurinud f\u00fc\u00fcsilisi piiranguid ruumi ja toite osas, n\u00fc\u00fcd vaatame ka v\u00f5rku. Saame kasutada N (n\u00e4iteks meil on 48-portilised ToR l\u00fclitid) jaoks 24\/32\/48 porti. \u00d5nneks pole valikuid palju, kui mitte m\u00f5elda break-out kaablitele. Arutame stsenaariume, kus meil on \u00fcks l\u00fcliti kapi kohta, \u00fcks l\u00fcliti kahe v\u00f5i kolme kapi grupis Rnet. Valime selle variandi, kus TCO on v\u00e4iksem. Kasum!<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e4rkusena, kuigi vajalike riiulite arv variantide 1 ja 2 on sama, on nende hind erinev, kuna teise variandi l\u00fclitite arv on kaks korda v\u00e4iksem ja vajalike kaablite pikkus suurem.<\/p>\n<p>P.S.
