Salvestusseade mahutas 3.75 mebibaiti andmeid, omades samas muljetavaldavaid m\u00f5\u00f5tmeid: 172 sentimeetrit k\u00f5rgust, 152 sentimeetrit pikkust ja 74 sentimeetrit laiust. Ajalugu\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/1b47f8a12435a8a3856ae4e82f1e142f.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><br \/>\nEsimene SSD-m\u00e4luseade loodi ettev\u00f5tte Dataram poolt 1976. aastal. Dataram BulkCore koosnes jahutusraamistikust, kuhu oli paigaldatud kaheksa 256 KiB RAM-m\u00e4lu plokki. V\u00f5rreldes esimese k\u00f5vakettaga oli BulkCore miniatuurne: 50,8 cm pikk, 48,26 cm lai ja 40 cm k\u00f5rge. Samuti oli selle mudeli andmete juurdep\u00e4\u00e4suaeg k\u00f5igest 750 ns, mis on 30000 korda kiiremini kui tollane k\u00f5ige uuem HDD.<\/p>\n<p>1978. aastal asutati Shugart Technology, mis muutis aasta hiljem nimetuse Seagate Technology, et v\u00e4ltida segadust Shugart Associatesiga. Kaks aastat p\u00e4rast Seagate'i tegevust tuli turule ST-506 \u2014 esimene k\u00f5vaketas isiklikele arvutitele 5,25-tollises formaadis ja 5 MiB mahutavusega.<\/p>\n<p>Lisaks Shugart Technology loomisele j\u00e4\u00e4b 1978. aasta meelde ka StorageTek'i esimese Enterprise SSD v\u00e4ljalaskmisega. StorageTek STC 4305 suutis salvestada 45 MiB andmeid. See SSD loodi IBM 2305 asendamiseks, sellel olid sarnased m\u00f5\u00f5tmed ja hind ulatus uskumatu 400 000$-ni.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/yesterbits.com\/2017\/01\/22\/axlon-ramdisk-320\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sissejuhatus SSD-dele. Osa 1. Ajalugu\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/19709bf08774f6310a59e26b6bc6a327.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><br \/>\n1982. aastal j\u00f5uab SSD isiklike arvutite turule. Axlon arendab spetsiaalselt Apple II jaoks RAM-chipidele p\u00f5hinevat SSD-d, mida nimetatakse RAMDISK 320. Kuna seade t\u00f6\u00f6tati v\u00e4lja energia s\u00f5ltuva m\u00e4lu p\u00f5hjal, kaasnes sellega aku, et tagada info s\u00e4ilimine. Aku mahutavus kestis 3 tundi autonoomset kasutust elektritoite kadumise korral.<\/p>\n<p>Aasta p\u00e4rast toob Rodime turule oma esimese 10 MiB k\u00f5vaketta RO352, mille formaat on 3,5 tolli, nagu t\u00e4nap\u00e4eva kasutajatele harjumuslik. Kuigi see on esimene kaubanduslik ketas sellises formaadis, ei teinud Rodime tegelikult midagi uuenduslikku.<\/p>\n<p>Esimene toode selles formaadis on flopidisk, mille tutvustasid ettev\u00f5tted Tandon ja Shugart Associates. Veel enam, Seagate ja MiniScribe leppisid kokku 3,5-tollise t\u00f6\u00f6stusstandardi vastuv\u00f5tmises, j\u00e4ttes Rodime k\u00f5rvale, mille saatuseks oleks saanud \"patenditroll\" ja t\u00e4ielik lahkumine andmem\u00e4lude tootmisest.<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ferra.ru\/review\/computers\/evolution-hdd-blu-ray-hd-dvd-flash-nor-nand-ssd-part-2.htm\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sissejuhatus SSD-dele. Ajalugu\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/9d34e3162ce0accc57bfdfd02256850c.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><br \/>\n1980. aastal registreeris Toshiba insener, professor Fujio Masuoka, patendi uue m\u00e4lut\u00fc\u00fcbi, mida nimetatakse NOR t\u00fc\u00fcpi Flash-m\u00e4luks. Arendust\u00f6\u00f6 v\u00f5ttis aega 4 aastat.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>NOR-m\u00e4lu on klassikaline 2D juhtmete matriits,<\/b>kus ridade ja veergude ristumiskohas on \u00fcks m\u00e4luelement (analoog magnettuumam\u00e4lule).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\n1984. aastal r\u00e4\u00e4kis professor Masuoka oma leiutisest International Electronics Developers Meeting konverentsil, kus Intel hindas selle arenduse potentsiaali kiiresti. Professor Masuoka t\u00f6\u00f6tas ettev\u00f5ttes Toshiba, mis ei pidanud Flash-m\u00e4lu millegip\u00e4rast eriliseks, ja seet\u00f5ttu rahuldati Intel'i palve teha m\u00f5ned katseproovid uurimiseks.<\/p>\n<p>Intel'i huvi Fujiwo arenduse vastu sundis Toshiba'r eraldama viis inseneri professori toetamiseks leiutise kommertsialiseerimise probleemide lahendamisel. Intel omakorda v\u00e4rbas kolm sada t\u00f6\u00f6tajat, et luua oma versioon Flash-m\u00e4lust.<\/p>\n<p>Samal ajal kui Intel ja Toshiba t\u00f6\u00f6tasid Flash-m\u00e4lude arendamise kallal, toimusid 1986. aastal kaks olulist s\u00fcndmust. Esiteks standardeeriti ametlikult SCSI \u2014 kokkulepete kogum, mis m\u00e4\u00e4ratleb suhtlemiseks arvutite ja perifeerseadmete vahel. Teiseks arendati v\u00e4lja AT Attachment (ATA) liides, tuntud kaubam\u00e4rgi nimi Integrated Drive Electronics (IDE) all, mille tulemusena liikusid ketta kontrollerid kettasse sisse.<\/p>\n<p>Kolme aasta jooksul t\u00f6\u00f6tas Fujiwo Masuoka Flash-m\u00e4lu tehnoloogia t\u00e4iustamise kallal ning 1987. aastaks t\u00f6\u00f6tas v\u00e4lja NAND-m\u00e4lu.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><b>NAND-m\u00e4lu on sama kui NOR-m\u00e4lu, kuid korraldatud kolmem\u00f5\u00f5tmelisse massiivi<\/b>. Peamine erinevus seisnes selles, et juurdep\u00e4\u00e4su algoritm igale rakule muutus keerulisemaks, rakud muutusid v\u00e4iksemaks ning \u00fcldine maht suurenes oluliselt.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\nAasta hiljem t\u00f6\u00f6tas ettev\u00f5te Intel v\u00e4lja oma NOR-t\u00fc\u00fcpi Flash-m\u00e4lu ning ettev\u00f5te Digipro valmistas selle p\u00f5hjal m\u00e4luseadmest Flashdisk. Esimene versioon Flashdiskist, maksimaalses komplektis, mahutas 16 MiB andmeid ja maksis v\u00e4hem kui 500$<\/p>\n<p><noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/wwstechnology.fandom.com\/wiki\/SSD_2015?file=Evolution_ssd_08-8238889.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Sissejuhatus SSD-dele. Osa 1. Ajalugu\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/034305fa0c62e425a38d3f4e02b3c1b6.jpg\" style=\"display:block;margin: 0 auto;\" \/><\/a><\/noindex><br \/>\n80ndate l\u00f5pus ja 90ndate alguses v\u00f5istlesid k\u00f5vakettatootjad ketaste suuruse v\u00e4hendamise osas. 1989. aastal t\u00f5i ettev\u00f5te PrairieTek v\u00e4lja PrairieTek 220 20 MiB ketta 2.5-tollises formaadis. Kaks aastat hiljem valmistas Integral Peripherals 1.8-tollise ketta Integral Peripherals 1820 \"Mustang\" sama mahuga. Aasta hiljem v\u00e4hendas Hewlett-Packard ketta suuruse 1.3 tollini.<\/p>\n<p>Seagate on j\u00e4\u00e4nud truuks 3,5-tollistele k\u00f5vaketastele, panustades p\u00f6\u00f6rlemiskiiruse suurendamisele. 1992. aastal tutvustas ta oma kuulsat mudelit Barracuda, mis oli esimene k\u00f5vaketas p\u00f6\u00f6rlemiskiiruselt 7200 p\/min. Kuid Seagate ei kavatse sellega peatuda. 1996. aastal saavutasid Seagate Cheetah seeria kettad p\u00f6\u00f6rlemiskiirus 10000 p\/min ning neli aastat hiljem uuendus mudel X15 p\u00f6\u00f6rles isegi 15000 p\/min.<\/p>\n<p>Aastal 2000 hakkas ATA liidest nimetama PATAks. Selle p\u00f5hjuseks oli Serial ATA (SATA) liidese ilmumine, millel olid v\u00e4iksemad kaablid, kuumplugimise tugi ja suurem andmeedastuskiirus. Seagate oli siin samuti eesotsas, kuulutades v\u00e4lja 2002. aastal esimese k\u00f5vaketta, millel oli see liides.<\/p>\n<p>Alguses oli flash-m\u00e4lu tootmine v\u00e4ga kallis, kuid 2000. aastate alguses langes hind j\u00e4rsult. Seda kasutas \u00e4ra Transcend, kes 2003. aastal turule t\u00f5i SSD-kettad mahuga 16 kuni 512 MiB. Kolm aastat hiljem liitus massilise tootmisega Samsung ja SanDisk. Samal aastal m\u00fc\u00fcs IBM oma ketta\u00e4ri Hitachile.<\/p>\n<p>Tahketehnoloogia kogus hoogu ja ilmnes ilmne probleem: SATA liides oli aeglasem kui SSD-d ise. Selle probleemi lahendamiseks k\u00e4ivitas NVM Expressi t\u00f6\u00f6grupp NVMe arendamise \u2014 spetsifikatsiooni, mis v\u00f5imaldab p\u00e4\u00e4seda SSD-dele otse PCIe-bussi kaudu, m\u00f6\u00f6dudes SATA-kontrollerist. See v\u00f5imaldab andmetele ligi p\u00e4\u00e4seda PCIe-bussi kiirusel. Kaks aastat hiljem oli spetsifikatsiooni esimene versioon valmis ja veel aasta hiljem ilmus esimene NVMe-disk.<\/p>\n<h2>Erinevused kaasaegsete SSD-de ja HDD-de vahel<\/h2>\n<p>\nF\u00fc\u00fcsilisel tasandil on SSD-de ja HDD-de vahel erinevus kergesti m\u00e4rgatav: SSD-des puuduvad mehaanilised osad ja teave salvestatakse m\u00e4lurakkudesse. Liikuvate elementide puudumine tagab kiire juurdep\u00e4\u00e4su andmetele igas m\u00e4lukohtades, kuid esineb piirang kirjutamists\u00fcklite arvule. Iga m\u00e4luraku piiratud kirjutamists\u00fcklite t\u00f5ttu on vajalik tasakaalustusmehhanism \u2014 m\u00e4lurakkude kulumise tasakaalustamine andmete \u00fcleviimise teel nende vahel. Selle t\u00f6\u00f6 teeb diskikontroller.<\/p>\n<p>SSD-kontroller peab teadma, millised m\u00e4lurakud on h\u00f5ivatud ja millised vabad, et tasakaalustamist teostada. Andmete kirjutamine rakku on kontrolleril v\u00f5imalik iseseisvalt tuvastada, kuid sama ei saa \u00f6elda kustutamise kohta. Nagu on teada, ei kustuta operatsioonis\u00fcsteemid (OS) andmeid kettalt, kui kasutaja kustutab faili, vaid t\u00e4histavad vastavad m\u00e4lupiirkonnad vabadena. Selline lahendus vabastab ootamise kettategevuse ajal HDD-de kasutamisel, kuid ei sobi sugugi SSD-de t\u00f6\u00f6ks. SSD-kontroller t\u00f6\u00f6tab baitidega, mitte failis\u00fcsteemidega, ja seet\u00f5ttu vajab see eraldi teavet faili kustutamise kohta.<\/p>\n<p>Nii sai alguse TRIM-k\u00e4sk (ingl. k. \u2014 l\u00f5ikamine), millega OS teavitab SSD-kontrollerit kindla m\u00e4lupiirkonna vabastamisest. TRIM-k\u00e4sk kustutab andmed kettalt p\u00f6\u00f6rdumatult. Mitte k\u00f5ik operatsioonis\u00fcsteemid ei tea, et on vajalik saata see k\u00e4sk tahkis-diskidele, ja riistvara RAID-kontrollerid ketaste haldamise re\u017eiimis ei saada kunagi TRIM-k\u00e4sku
