On mitmeid p\u00f5hiskenaariume klastrite kasutamiseks:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>T\u00f5rkekindluse tagamine<\/b> (High-availability).<\/li>\n<li><b>Koormuse tasakaalustamine<\/b> (Load Balancing).<\/li>\n<li><b>T\u00f6\u00f6tlemise v\u00f5imekuse suurendamine<\/b> (High Performance).<\/li>\n<li><b>Jaotatud arvutuste tegemine<\/b> (Distributed computing).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\nIgal skenaariumil on oma n\u00f5udmised klastrite komponentidele. N\u00e4iteks jaotatud arvutuste teostamise klaster peab tagama k\u00f5rge h\u00f5ljumisse operatsioonide kiirus ja madal v\u00f5rgul\u00e4bivuse aeg. Sellised klastrid on sageli kasutusel teaduslikuks uurimiseks.<\/p>\n<p>Kuna puudutasime jaotatud arvutuste teemat, siis tasub mainida, et on olemas ka m\u00f5isted nagu <b>grid-s\u00fcsteem<\/b> (ingl. grid \u2014 v\u00f5rk, s\u00fcsteem). Vaatamata sarnastele elementidele ei tasu segi ajada grid-s\u00fcsteemi ja klastrit. Grid ei ole klassikalises t\u00e4henduses klaster.
