H.266\/VVC kodeerija ja dekodeerija standardi rakenduse avaldamist oodatakse s\u00fcgisel.<\/p>\n<p>H.266\/VVC tagab k\u00f5rge \u00fclekande- ja salvestust\u00f5hususe k\u00f5ikides ekraanide resolutsioonides (alates SD-st ja HD-st kuni 4K ja 8K), toetab laiendatud d\u00fcnaamilise vahemiku (HDR, High Dynamic Range) videot ja 360-kraadist panoramavideot. N\u00e4iteks kui 90-minutise UHD kvaliteediga video edastamiseks H.265 korral oli vaja 10 GB andmeid, siis H.266 v\u00f5imaldab selle paigutada 5 GB, s\u00e4ilitades sama kvaliteeditaseme. V\u00f5rdluseks, AV1 formaadi kompressioonit\u00f5husus <noindex><a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/bitmovin.com\/av1-multi-codec-dash-dataset\/\">\u00fcletab<\/a><\/noindex> HEVC keskmiselt 17% (k\u00f5rgete bitim\u00e4\u00e4rade korral 30-43%).<\/p>\n<p>Kompressiooni efektiivsuse t\u00f5us tuleb aga hinna t\u00f5stmise arvelt; algoritmide t\u00fcsistumise t\u00f5ttu suureneb arvutusressursside n\u00f5udlus (kuni 10 korda kodeerimise ja kuni 2 korda dekodeerimise osas v\u00f5rreldes H.265-iga).
