Le premier chip basé sur la plateforme ouverte OpenTitan a été présenté
L'organisation à but non lucratif lowRISC, qui supervise le développement d'un microprocesseur libre basé sur l'architecture RISC-V, a annoncé la disponibilité du premier chip prêt à la production commerciale, construit sur la plateforme ouverte OpenTitan, qui est développée comme un projet collaboratif indépendant. Initialement, le projet a été fondé par Google, mais après avoir transféré le développement à lowRISC, des entreprises telles que Western Digital, Seagate, Nuvoton Technology, Winbond, […] ont rejoint le projet.
