Dans le sous-syst\u00e8me eBPF, qui permet d'ex\u00e9cuter des gestionnaires \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur du noyau Linux dans une machine virtuelle sp\u00e9ciale avec JIT, une vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9e (CVE-2021-3600) qui permet \u00e0 un utilisateur local non privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 d'ex\u00e9cuter son code au niveau du noyau Linux. Le probl\u00e8me est caus\u00e9 par un tronquage incorrect des registres 32 bits lors de l'ex\u00e9cution des op\u00e9rations \u00ab div \u00bb et \u00ab mod \u00bb, ce qui peut entra\u00eener la lecture et l'\u00e9criture de donn\u00e9es en dehors de la zone m\u00e9moire allou\u00e9e. <\/p>\n

La vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 introduite dans un correctif incorrect concernant la division par z\u00e9ro en 32 bits dans la version 4.15, qui a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9troport\u00e9e dans les branches 4.4.x, 4.9.x et 4.14.x. L'exploitation de cette vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 est possible pour les noyaux \u00e0 partir de la version 4.14, dans laquelle la m\u00e9thode de suivi des valeurs dans le v\u00e9rificateur BPF a \u00e9t\u00e9 modifi\u00e9e. Le probl\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 corrig\u00e9 dans le noyau Linux 5.11. Le correctif a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9troport\u00e9 dans les branches 5.10.x et 5.4.x, mais n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9 aux branches 4.19.x et 4.14.x. Une mise \u00e0 jour contenant le correctif de la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e pour Ubuntu et Debian Sid. Il n'est pas encore clair si le probl\u00e8me se manifeste sous SUSE et RHEL.
