Conform\u00e9ment au plan annonc\u00e9 pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment, GitHub mettra fin au support de la connexion aux objets Git via l'authentification par mot de passe. Ce changement sera appliqu\u00e9 aujourd'hui \u00e0 19 heures (MSK), apr\u00e8s quoi l'ex\u00e9cution directe des op\u00e9rations Git n\u00e9cessitant une authentification ne sera possible qu'avec des cl\u00e9s SSH ou des jetons (jetons personnels GitHub ou OAuth). Une exception est accord\u00e9e uniquement aux comptes utilisant l'authentification \u00e0 deux facteurs, qui se connectent \u00e0 Git avec un mot de passe et une cl\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaire. <\/p>\n

Il est pr\u00e9vu que le renforcement des exigences en mati\u00e8re d'authentification prot\u00e9gera les utilisateurs contre la compromission de leurs d\u00e9p\u00f4ts en cas de fuite de bases de donn\u00e9es utilisateur ou de piratage de services tiers, o\u00f9 les utilisateurs ont utilis\u00e9 les m\u00eames mots de passe que sur GitHub. Parmi les avantages de l'authentification par jeton figurent : la possibilit\u00e9 de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des jetons distincts pour des appareils et des sessions sp\u00e9cifiques, le soutien au retrait de jetons compromis sans changement d'identifiants, la possibilit\u00e9 de limiter l'\u00e9tendue d'acc\u00e8s via le jeton, et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des jetons contre les attaques par force brute.
