Les d\u00e9veloppeurs de Raspberry Pi ont annonc\u00e9 la certification du pilote graphique v3dv par l'organisation Khronos, qui a pass\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s plus de 100 000 tests du jeu de tests CTS (Kronos Conformance Test Suite) et a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnu enti\u00e8rement compatible avec la sp\u00e9cification Vulkan 1.1. <\/p>\n

Le pilote est certifi\u00e9 pour l'utilisation avec la puce Broadcom BCM2711, qui est appliqu\u00e9e sur les cartes Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 400 et Compute Module 4. La v\u00e9rification a \u00e9t\u00e9 effectu\u00e9e sur une carte Raspberry Pi 4 avec la distribution Raspberry Pi OS bas\u00e9e sur le noyau Linux 5.10.63, Mesa 21.3.0 et le serveur X. L'obtention du certificat permet de revendiquer officiellement la compatibilit\u00e9 avec les normes graphiques et d'utiliser les marques d\u00e9pos\u00e9es associ\u00e9es de Khronos. <\/p>\n

En plus de Vulkan 1.1, le pilote v3dv prend \u00e9galement en charge les g\u00e9om\u00e9triques shaders et les extensions non couvertes par la sp\u00e9cification Vulkan. Le support du d\u00e9bogueur 3D RenderDoc et de l'outil de tra\u00e7age GFXReconstruct a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9. De plus, les performances du code g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par le compilateur de shaders ont \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9rablement augment\u00e9es, ce qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e0 la vitesse des applications utilisant fortement les shaders, telles que les jeux utilisant le moteur Unreal Engine 4. Tous les changements not\u00e9s dans le pilote v3dv ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 accept\u00e9s dans la base principale du projet Mesa et seront bient\u00f4t disponibles dans la distribution Raspberry Pi OS. Le pilote v3dv est limit\u00e9 au support de l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur graphique VideoCore VI, utilis\u00e9 depuis le mod\u00e8le Raspberry Pi 4. Pour les anciennes cartes, un pilote distinct RPi-VK-Driver est en cours de d\u00e9veloppement, qui impl\u00e9mente seulement un sous-ensemble de l'API Vulkan, car les capacit\u00e9s du GPU VideoCore, fourni avec des cartes ant\u00e9rieures au Raspberry Pi 4, ne sont pas suffisantes pour une impl\u00e9mentation compl\u00e8te de l'API Vulkan.
