Pour Fedora Linux 37, il est pr\u00e9vu que l'architecture ARMv7, \u00e9galement connue sous le nom d'ARM32 ou armhfp, soit class\u00e9e comme obsol\u00e8te. Tous les efforts de d\u00e9veloppement pour les syst\u00e8mes ARM seront concentr\u00e9s sur l'architecture ARM64 (Aarch64). Ce changement n'a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9 par le comit\u00e9 FESCo (Fedora Engineering Steering Committee), qui est responsable de la partie technique du d\u00e9veloppement de la distribution Fedora. Si la modification est approuv\u00e9e, la derni\u00e8re version prenant en charge les syst\u00e8mes ARM 32 bits sera Fedora 36, dont les mises \u00e0 jour seront publi\u00e9es jusqu'en juin 2023. <\/p>\n

Les raisons invoqu\u00e9es pour l'arr\u00eat du support d'ARMv7 incluent le repli g\u00e9n\u00e9ral sur le d\u00e9veloppement de la distribution pour les syst\u00e8mes 32 bits, car certaines nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s de Fedora, li\u00e9es \u00e0 un renforcement de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et \u00e0 une am\u00e9lioration des performances, ne sont disponibles que pour les architectures 64 bits. Jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, ARMv7 \u00e9tait la derni\u00e8re architecture 32 bits enti\u00e8rement support\u00e9e dans Fedora (la formation des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts pour l'architecture i686 a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9e en 2019, seuls des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts multi-lib pour les environnements x86_64 sont maintenus).
