Ethan Smith, l'un des principaux d\u00e9veloppeurs de MyPyC, un compilateur de modules Python en code C, a annonc\u00e9 l'ajout \u00e0 la base de code de CPython (la mise en \u0153uvre de Python) de modifications permettant de compiler la branche principale de CPython pour un fonctionnement dans le navigateur sans recourir \u00e0 des correctifs suppl\u00e9mentaires. Le travail a \u00e9t\u00e9 approuv\u00e9 par Guido van Rossum, le cr\u00e9ateur du langage de programmation Python, qui a \u00e9galement propos\u00e9 d'int\u00e9grer le support de Python dans le service web github.dev, fournissant un environnement de d\u00e9veloppement interactif enti\u00e8rement fonctionnel dans le navigateur.
