Trois biblioth\u00e8ques contenant du code malveillant ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es dans le catalogue PyPI (Python Package Index). Avant la d\u00e9tection des probl\u00e8mes et leur suppression du catalogue, les paquets avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9l\u00e9charg\u00e9s presque 15 000 fois au total. <\/p>\n

Les paquets dpp-client (10194 t\u00e9l\u00e9chargements) et dpp-client1234 (1536 t\u00e9l\u00e9chargements) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 diffus\u00e9s depuis f\u00e9vrier et incluaient un code permettant d'envoyer le contenu des variables d'environnement, qui pouvaient inclure des cl\u00e9s d'acc\u00e8s, des jetons ou des mots de passe pour des syst\u00e8mes d'int\u00e9gration continue ou des environnements cloud tels qu'AWS. Les paquets envoyaient \u00e9galement vers un h\u00f4te externe la liste contenant les r\u00e9pertoires \u00ab \/home \u00bb, \u00ab \/mnt\/mesos\/ \u00bb et \u00ab mnt\/mesos\/sandbox \u00bb.

Le paquet aws-login0tool (3042 t\u00e9l\u00e9chargements) a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 dans le d\u00e9p\u00f4t PyPI le 1er d\u00e9cembre et incluait un code pour t\u00e9l\u00e9charger et ex\u00e9cuter une application Trojan visant \u00e0 prendre le contr\u00f4le des h\u00f4tes fonctionnant sous Windows. Lors de la s\u00e9lection du nom du paquet, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 not\u00e9 que les touches \u00ab 0 \u00bb et \u00ab - \u00bb sont proches, et il est probable que le d\u00e9veloppeur tape \u00ab aws-login0tool \u00bb au lieu de \u00ab aws-login-tool \u00bb.

Des paquets probl\u00e9matiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9s lors d'une simple exp\u00e9rience dans laquelle une partie des paquets PyPI (environ 200 000 sur 330 000 paquets dans le d\u00e9p\u00f4t) a \u00e9t\u00e9 t\u00e9l\u00e9charg\u00e9e \u00e0 l'aide de l'utilitaire Bandersnatch, apr\u00e8s quoi des paquets mentionnant l'appel \u00ab import urllib.request \u00bb dans leur fichier setup.py ont \u00e9t\u00e9 extraits et analys\u00e9s, ce qui est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 pour envoyer des requ\u00eates vers des h\u00f4tes externes.
