Dans le cadre de la base de paquets Debian testing, sur laquelle sera fond\u00e9e la sortie de Debian 12 \u00ab Bookworm \u00bb, le paquet fnt a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9, mettant en \u0153uvre un gestionnaire de polices qui r\u00e9sout la t\u00e2che de l'installation de polices suppl\u00e9mentaires et de la maintenance des polices existantes \u00e0 jour. En plus de Linux, le programme peut \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 sous FreeBSD (un port a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment ajout\u00e9) et macOS. Le code est \u00e9crit en Shell et est distribu\u00e9 sous la licence MIT. <\/p>\n

L'outil fnt est positionn\u00e9 comme un \u00e9quivalent de apt pour les polices et prend en charge un ensemble de commandes similaire pour l'installation, la mise \u00e0 jour et la recherche. Il propose \u00e9galement une commande pour un aper\u00e7u visuel des polices dans la console \u00e0 l'aide d' \u0433\u0440\u0430\u0444\u0438\u043a\u0438 ASCII. Pour une visualisation de meilleure qualit\u00e9 des polices propos\u00e9es, un service web a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9par\u00e9. L'outil permet d'installer des polices plus r\u00e9centes, pr\u00e9sentes dans le d\u00e9p\u00f4t Debian Sid, ainsi que des polices externes de la collection Google Web Fonts. Au total, environ 2000 polices sont propos\u00e9es pour installation (480 de Debian sid et 1420 de Google Web Fonts).
