La version du syst\u00e8me d'exploitation de bureau GhostBSD 22.01.12 est publi\u00e9e, construite sur FreeBSD 13-STABLE et offrant l'environnement utilisateur MATE. Par d\u00e9faut, GhostBSD utilise le syst\u00e8me de fichiers ZFS. Il prend en charge \u00e0 la fois le mode Live et l'installation sur disque dur (un installateur ginstall \u00e9crit en Python est utilis\u00e9). Des images de d\u00e9marrage ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es pour l'architecture x86_64 (2,58 Go). <\/p>\n

La nouvelle version supprime les composants du syst\u00e8me de base qui offraient une prise en charge facultative du syst\u00e8me d'initialisation OpenRC. Le paquet dhcpcd a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 retir\u00e9 au profit du client DHCP par d\u00e9faut de FreeBSD. Le lecteur multim\u00e9dia VLC a \u00e9t\u00e9 recompil\u00e9 avec le support UPNP.
