La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Intel a annonc\u00e9 l'acquisition de l'entreprise Linutronix, qui d\u00e9veloppe des technologies pour l'utilisation de Linux dans les syst\u00e8mes industriels. En particulier, Linutronix supervise le d\u00e9veloppement de la branche RT du noyau Linux (\u00ab Realtime-Preempt \u00bb, PREEMPT_RT ou \u00ab -rt \u00bb), ax\u00e9e sur des syst\u00e8mes fonctionnant en temps r\u00e9el. Le poste de directeur technique chez Linutronix est occup\u00e9 par Thomas Gleixner, le principal d\u00e9veloppeur des correctifs PREEMPT_RT et mainteneur de l'architecture x86 du noyau Linux. <\/p>\n

Il est \u00e0 noter que l'acquisition de Linutronix t\u00e9moigne de l'engagement d'Intel \u00e0 soutenir le noyau Linux et la communaut\u00e9 qui l'entoure.
