Le premier lancement de la nouvelle \u00e9dition non officielle d'Ubuntu Linux \u2014 Rolling Rhino Remix, a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9. Cette version impl\u00e9mente un mod\u00e8le de livraison continue des mises \u00e0 jour (versions rolling). Elle peut \u00eatre utile aux utilisateurs avanc\u00e9s ou aux d\u00e9veloppeurs qui souhaitent rester inform\u00e9s de tous les changements ou qui souhaitent acc\u00e9der aux versions les plus r\u00e9centes des logiciels. Contrairement aux scripts existants permettant de transformer des builds exp\u00e9rimentaux quotidiens en versions rolling, le projet Rolling Rhino Remix fournit des images d'installation pr\u00eates \u00e0 l'emploi (3,2 Go), permettant d'obtenir imm\u00e9diatement un syst\u00e8me rolling sans avoir \u00e0 copier et \u00e0 ex\u00e9cuter des scripts externes. <\/p>\n

Les diff\u00e9rences par rapport aux builds tests ordinaires d'Ubuntu concernent principalement l'inclusion des branches de d\u00e9veloppement des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts, o\u00f9 se fait la construction des paquets avec les nouvelles versions des applications, transf\u00e9r\u00e9es \u00e0 partir des branches Debian Sid et Unstable. Une utilitaire distinct, rhino, est propos\u00e9 pour installer les mises \u00e0 jour, rempla\u00e7ant les commandes \u00ab apt update \u00bb et \u00ab apt upgrade \u00bb. Cet utilitaire est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 pour la configuration initiale des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts dans le fichier \/etc\/apt\/sources.list apr\u00e8s l'installation.
