La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Canonical a publi\u00e9 la version 1.9 de l'outil multipass, con\u00e7u pour simplifier l'installation de diff\u00e9rentes versions d'Ubuntu dans des machines virtuelles fonctionnant sur des syst\u00e8mes de virtualisation Linux, Windows et macOS. Multipass permet aux d\u00e9veloppeurs de lancer la version d'Ubuntu souhait\u00e9e dans une machine virtuelle avec une seule commande, sans configurations suppl\u00e9mentaires, par exemple, pour des exp\u00e9riences ou pour tester leur application. Pour lancer une machine virtuelle sous Linux, on utilise KVM, sous Windows \u2014 Hyper-V, et sous macOS \u2014 HyperKit. La nouvelle version a introduit la possibilit\u00e9 d'authentification du client pour ex\u00e9cuter multipass sous un utilisateur non privil\u00e9gi\u00e9.
