Une vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9e dans l'utilitaire unrar (CVE-2022-30333), permettant, lors de l'extraction d'une archive sp\u00e9cialement con\u00e7ue, d'\u00e9craser des fichiers en dehors du r\u00e9pertoire courant, selon les droits de l'utilisateur. Le probl\u00e8me a \u00e9t\u00e9 corrig\u00e9 dans les versions RAR 6.12 et unrar 6.1.7. Cette vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 se manifeste dans les versions pour Linux, FreeBSD et macOS, mais ne concerne pas les compilations pour Android et Windows. <\/p>\n

Le probl\u00e8me est caus\u00e9 par l'absence de v\u00e9rification ad\u00e9quate de la s\u00e9quence \u00ab \/.. \u00bb dans les chemins de fichiers sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9s dans l'archive, ce qui permet de d\u00e9passer le r\u00e9pertoire de base lors de l'extraction. Par exemple, en pla\u00e7ant dans l'archive \u00ab ..\/.ssh\/authorized_keys \u00bb, un attaquant peut tenter de r\u00e9\u00e9crire le fichier utilisateur \u00ab ~\/.ssh\/authorized_keys \u00bb au moment de l'extraction.
