Konstantin Komarov, fondateur et directeur de Paragon Software, a propos\u00e9 d'inclure dans le noyau Linux 5.19 la premi\u00e8re mise \u00e0 jour corrective du pilote ntfs3. Depuis l'inclusion de ntfs3 dans le noyau 5.15 en octobre dernier, le pilote n'a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 mis \u00e0 jour, et les d\u00e9veloppeurs ont perdu contact, ce qui a suscit\u00e9 un d\u00e9bat sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de classer le code NTFS3 comme abandonn\u00e9 (\u00ab orphaned \u00bb) et de supprimer le pilote du noyau. <\/p>\n

Les d\u00e9veloppeurs ont maintenant repris la publication des modifications et ont regroup\u00e9 l'ensemble des corrections accumul\u00e9es. Des correctifs pr\u00e9liminaires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9s et test\u00e9s dans la branche linux-next. Les correctifs propos\u00e9s corrigent les erreurs entra\u00eenant des fuites de m\u00e9moire et des plantages, r\u00e9solvent les probl\u00e8mes d'ex\u00e9cution des xfstests, ont nettoy\u00e9 le code inutilis\u00e9 et corrig\u00e9 des fautes de frappe. Au total, 11 corrections ont \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9es.
