La version 7.0 du syst\u00e8me de documentation libre GNU Texinfo a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e, initialement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par Richard Stallman et utilis\u00e9e pour pr\u00e9parer la documentation des projets GNU. GNU Texinfo d\u00e9finit un format de balisage sp\u00e9cial pour la documentation et permet de convertir le document source en divers formats pour publication et impression, tels que PDF, HTML, DVI, Info, DocBook, XML, etc. <\/p>\n

La nouvelle version \u00e9tend consid\u00e9rablement les fonctionnalit\u00e9s de l'outil texi2any, r\u00e9solvant les probl\u00e8mes d'encodage et introduisant les options «—latex» et «—epub3» pour l'exportation au format LaTeX et EPUB 3, tout en am\u00e9liorant significativement la prise en charge de l'exportation au format HTML. De nouvelles commandes @latex, @iflatex et @ifnotlatex ont \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9es pour l'exportation en format LaTeX. L'outil info a \u00e9galement am\u00e9lior\u00e9 la prise en charge des enregistrements dans les index contenant des parenth\u00e8ses et a optimis\u00e9 le gras du texte lors de l'affichage des pages man.
