Une vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9e dans le pilote GPU Intel (i915) (CVE-2022-4139), pouvant entra\u00eener une corruption de la m\u00e9moire ou une fuite de donn\u00e9es de la m\u00e9moire du noyau. Le probl\u00e8me se manifeste \u00e0 partir du noyau Linux 5.4 et concerne les GPU int\u00e9gr\u00e9s et discrets Intel de 12e g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, y compris les familles Tiger Lake, Rocket Lake, Alder Lake, DG1, Raptor Lake, DG2, Arctic Sound et Meteor Lake. <\/p>\n
Le probl\u00e8me est caus\u00e9 par une erreur logique qui fait que le pilote vid\u00e9o r\u00e9initialise incorrectement les tampons TLB c\u00f4t\u00e9 GPU sur certains mat\u00e9riels. Dans certains cas, la r\u00e9initialisation des TLB ne se produisait pas du tout. Une r\u00e9initialisation incorrecte des tampons TLB peut permettre \u00e0 un processus utilisant le GPU d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des pages de m\u00e9moire physique qui ne sont pas allou\u00e9es \u00e0 ce processus, ce qui peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour lire des donn\u00e9es d'autres processus ou corrompre la m\u00e9moire dans un processus \u00e9tranger. Il n'est pas encore d\u00e9termin\u00e9 si la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 peut \u00eatre exploit\u00e9e pour provoquer une corruption cibl\u00e9e de la m\u00e9moire \u00e0 des adresses souhait\u00e9es.
