La biblioth\u00e8que peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e dans plusieurs lecteurs vid\u00e9o, parmi lesquels xine-ui, gxine, kaffeine.       <\/p>\n<p>Xine prend en charge le fonctionnement en mode multithreading, prend en charge de nombreux formats et codecs populaires ainsi que moins connus, et peut traiter \u00e0 la fois du contenu local et des flux multim\u00e9dias transmis sur le r\u00e9seau. L'architecture modulaire permet d'\u00e9tendre facilement les fonctionnalit\u00e9s via des plugins.
