Dans le chargeur U-boot, principalement utilis\u00e9 sur des dispositifs embarqu\u00e9s, une pile TCP a \u00e9t\u00e9 int\u00e9gr\u00e9e et la possibilit\u00e9 de chargement \u00e0 distance a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en \u0153uvre avec la livraison d'images de d\u00e9marrage, en utilisant le protocole HTTP. Auparavant, seuls des protocoles bas\u00e9s sur UDP, tels que TFTP et NFS, pouvaient \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s pour le chargement \u00e0 distance via le r\u00e9seau. Il est pr\u00e9vu que le support du chargement via HTTP simplifie consid\u00e9rablement le d\u00e9veloppement de syst\u00e8mes embarqu\u00e9s, puisque les serveurs HTTP sont plus r\u00e9pandus et familiers aux d\u00e9veloppeurs. <\/p>\n

Pour le chargement d'une image via HTTP dans U-boot, une nouvelle commande wget a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9e. Pour activer la pile TCP et la commande wget, les param\u00e8tres CONFIG_PROT_TCP, CONFIG_PROT_TCP_SACK et CONFIG_CMD_WGET ont \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9s dans le fichier de configuration. Parmi les plans futurs, on mentionne la mise en \u0153uvre du support HTTPS et l'int\u00e9gration avec UEFI HTTP boot.
